josh and i have been dating for four days now and it's been amazing. i'm very happy i made the decision to be with him. we've been taking things slow, but it makes everything more special. we still haven't gone public yet, but we think it's better that we wait and see where things go first.

september 22

i wake up to my alarm going off. i turn it off, my eyes still closed. i lay in bed for another thirty minutes and start to doze off..

"KATE!! THERES A FIRE GET UP!!"

i hear allissa screaming and i immediately shoot up. i grab the fire extinguisher in the hall and bolt to the kitchen with it in my hands. all i see is allissa standing in the kitchen with her phone videoing me.

me: what the fuck allissa.

she busts out laughing, almost on the verge of tears.

allissa: that's going on tiktok.
me: i hate you so much. i almost threw up i got so scared.
allissa: that was the point.

i grown as i put the fire extinguisher back. i walk into the kitchen and open the fridge to get some fruit to eat.

me: you know, we both almost like 15k followers on our accounts on tiktok and you just posted that...that's really embarrassing.
allissa: you'll survive.

she smacks my butt as she walks past me to her room.

me: you know it.

after i get my food, i sit on the couch and start to eat my breakfast. i get a notification from josh...

i continue to text josh and i accidently drop a strawberry on my hoodie because i am a klutz. i go to pick it up and i realize something...i'm wearing josh's hoodie and allissa posted that video with me wearing it..shit. allissa then sits beside me to watch tv.

me: allissa take the video down.
allissa: why?
me: i'm wearing joshes hoodie in it..couldn't that make it obvious that we're dating? or people thinking we're a thing? we haven't said anything about it yet-

i start to freak out a little.

allissa: kate chill. i didn't realize that i'm sorry. but i think it'll be okay-wait nevermind im getting thousands of comments about it already.
me: ughhhh great. whatever it'll be fine. we're going over to the air b n b in a little bit so get ready.

i eat the last bit of my fruit and walk to my room to get changed.
