(Amethyst's POV)

It all started on Monday, the 6th of January... Also the first day back to school after winter break for me. As my dad drove me to school I read some of the My Hero Academia manga I had.
"What are you reading?" My dad said out of curiosity.
"Some manga." I replied.
"Oh, a crappy comic book."
"It's neither crappy or a comic book! It's manga!"
"We're here." I got out of the car with my backpack, and waved goodbye to my dad as I walked into the school.

"Hey Amethyst." My friend Melanie greeted me. I said a quick "good morning", as I made my way to my locker. Once I had my stuff I decided to walk to my first class, the bell was about to ring anyways. As expected, the bell rang as I sat in my seat.

Everything was going pretty normal that class, until about half an hour in. I started to feel exhausted and sick. I raised my hand up.
"Yes, Amethyst?" The teacher called on me.
"May I use the bathroom please?" I asked.
"Be quick."
"I will."

As soon as I got into the bathroom I went into a stall and sat down. Everything started to spin, my vision went blurry. A few drips of blood fell on the floor, it came from my nose. I looked down at my hands, I'm not sure if it was loss of blood or something impossible... but my hands were in some way glitching.

Suddenly everything went dark.
