This was it; the day of the entrance exam. And I was nervous as hell. As it was an exam, I was supposed to wear a school uniform from my previous school. But mine didn't have one and I'm in a different reality now, so I wore everyday clothes. As I left the house I said bye to Ethan.

As I stood in front of the giant door leading to the fake city, I observed those around me. Everyone seemed so ready for the exam, there wasn't a single person I could see who was nervous.
"I guess all the confident people are in this group." I mumbled to myself. There wasn't anyone I recognized from the anime, so at least I know none of these people actually made it to class 1a or class 1b.

"Ready? GO!" I heard a voice from a speaker yell. I walked into the fake city and snapped my fingers on my right hand. Everything went dark. Today I decided to try something; since the light my quirk can make uses up to much "stamina", I decided to bring some items that might light up just about as much.

Opening my inventory, I grabbed a flashlight. I turned it on. The light cut off right where the darkness started. I decided to try plan b; a lantern lit with actual fire. I grabbed a match and lit the lantern. Thankfully it lit up the darkness a bit. I grabbed my weapon and started to walk towards the robots.

Each robot I went up to, I climbed upon and destroyed with my weapon. It took awhile, but after looking through what I thought to be the whole city, I snapped my fingers again, and waited a few seconds before laughing at all the complaints of the other people.

"WHAT THE HELL!?"
"Why are all these robots dead!?"
"FUUUUUUUUUCK!"
I laughed at all the complaints. I was feeling quite tired, so I decided to sit down.

After a while, another wave of robots came into the fake city.
"Well, plus ultra I guess." I said as I snapped my fingers and grabbed the lantern and my weapon. I decided to kill the wave of robots then sit down again.

As I "unpaused", more complaints were vocalized.
"What the actual FUCK!?"
"Dammit, I was about to kill that one!"
"Okay, this isn't funny."

"And that's all! Time's up!" A voice from the speakers said. I smiled to myself as I started to walk out. Everyone around me groaned and slowly walked back. Once I got back to UA, I grabbed my stuff and walked back to Ethan's house.

Once I got into the house, Spencer came to greet me. I pet him then put my bag down and sat on the couch. I decided to see what games were on Ethan's Nintendo Switch. Or, as it's called here, Nintendo Swap.
"There's not many that I wanna play..." I thought to myself, then decided to go on the eshop. I had a game in mind.

"U-N-D-E-R-T-, oh there it is." I said to myself as I picked the game "Undertale". The screen glitched slightly when I clicked "proceed to checkout". I wanted to see how much it would be in total. For some reason it said it was free. I decided to get it since it cost nothing. Once it was done downloading, I started to play a pacifist route. By the time Ethan got home, I was in Snowdin, and nothing was different.

"Holy shit Amethyst, you're glitching a lot!" Ethan said in a panic. I looked at my hands and sure enough I was glitching like crazy. In a panic I threw the remote which landed on the floor, somehow making the game close and go back to the home menu. The glitching stopped.

"Hey, are you okay!?" Ethan asked as he ran over to me, pulling me into a hug. I nodded and looked back at the tv in confusion.
"What the hell is with Undertale? It's the exact same as- and it made me-... what the fuck!?" I yelled in frustration.
"Undertale? What's that?" Ethan asked.
"Wait a minute." I pulled out my phone, and searched up "Undertale". There were no results.

"Amethyst... you're glitching again." Ethan informed me.
"Every time I mention it, I glitch... I guess Horikoshi couldn't replace perfection." I mumbled to myself.
"Wait, who's Horikoshi-"
"Nevermind."

We both stood up and I put away the Nintendo Swap.
"So, what I was going to ask you before all that happened; how did the exam go?" Ethan asked me.
"The written exam was alright. I didn't do as great as I wanted to, since I'm from a completely different country and, well, reality. But I did okay. I'm still trying to figure out why everything is in English though." I explained.
"English? Maybe it's your quirk. Remind me later and we can try to figure it out. And what about the practical exam?"

"For the practical, I did pretty good. I think everyone else in my 'group' failed because of me... but that means less competition I guess. I just kept pausing and killing the robots." I explained.
"Wow, you must be tired." Ethan said.
"Yeah, I was relaxing on the couch but, shit happens right?" Ethan stayed silent, trying to decide if he should scold me for swearing or not.

"Wait, what time is it?" I checked my phone. It said 4:05pm.
"Shit! I'm late for work!" I said in a panic as I got my shoes on.
"Don't you just work when you want though? Cause you don't have a schedule, right?" Ethan asked.
"There's an unspoken schedule, gotta go, bye!" I said as I ran out the door and towards the ice cream shop.

"I was wondering when you would show up." Himi said as I walked into the ice cream shop.
"Sorry Himi, I had the entrance exam for UA today." I explained as I tied my hair up in two messy buns.
"How was that?"
"I kicked ass... not in the written exam though... only in the practical."
"So you think you'll get into UA?"
"I think so."
"Yay! That's great! I can't wait to hear ALL about it~."

Something about the way she said that gave me mixed feelings. On one hand she is interested in something in my life, but on the other hand I had a feeling something bad was going to happen.
