The Glitch in Reality [Bnha OC insert]

Chapter 17

"For our first match this afternoon we have, Amethyst Ametrine vs Hitoshi Shinso!" Present Mic shouted as we walked onto the platform.
"Good luck." Shinso said to me. I nodded back, careful not to speak.
"Ready? START!" As soon as Midnight said start, I snapped my fingers and grabbed my weapon. I needed to save my quirk for later. On my menu thing it said I had used up half of my quirk limits.

"So pathetic that you need a support item... what a joke. You're equal to a backpack, all you do is carry items." Shinso insulted me, in attempt to make me speak. I kept my mouth shut, ignoring the insults.

With my weapon as a pole, I ran towards Shinso and just as I was about to 'hit him' with the pole, I snapped my fingers, deciding using a bit of my quirk to kick this guy's ass wouldn't be that bad. I walked around to the other side of him and snapped my fingers again before swinging the pole directly at him.

Shinso turned around and grabbed the pole. I pushed a button on it, making the pole into the sword. Shinso immediate took his hands away. I used that opening to kick his legs from under him and hold the sword to his neck.
"Thanks for that move Himiko." I thought to myself.

Shinso struggled from under me, but I pressed the sword tighter to his neck.
"I-... I surrender." Shinso told Midnight.
"AMETHYST WINS!" Midnight shouted. I got off Shinso and helped him up.
"You did good." I told him as he got up.
"So she speaks." He joked.
"Wow, I've never heard that before." I said in a sarcastic tone and laughed. We both went our separate ways.

I walked to the stands where my class was, and sat down by the Baku-squad.
"Amethyst that was so cool!" Mina praised me. I sunk lower in my seat and eventually felt my eyes get heavy. I slowly drifted off into sleep.

"AMETHYST!" I jumped awake at the sound of Mina's yelling. "Finally you're up."
"It's your match against Todoroki next." Yaoyorozu told me.
"You might wanna get ready and stuff." Jirou said.
"Oh shit! Gotta run!" I got up too quickly and fell. "This is where I live now." I told everyone as I gave up and stayed laying on the floor.
"Get up Glitch Bitch or I'll blast your ass to the arena!" Bakugo yelled in my face.
"I'm up!" I said as I continued to scramble to the arena.

"For our first match of the second round we have... Amethyst Ametrine vs Shoto Todoroki!" Present Mic announced. I walked onto the platform mumbling to myself.
"Ready? START!" Midnight yelled.

A giant thing of ice came my way. Just before it could hit, I snapped my fingers and walked behind Todoroki and grabbed my weapon. I suddenly had a terrible migraine. I checked my quirk usage meter, and I only had a quarter left before I would overuse my quirk.
"Fuck it." I said to myself as I decided to go all out.

I snapped my fingers and whacked Todoroki with my weapon. He grabbed it with his right hand and froze it. I snapped my fingers and moved away before he could do anything else. When I de-activated my quirk again, I pressed a button on my weapon making it into the sword. As it changed it broke the ice off of it.

Todoroki kept sending ice at me, I started to get more and more frustrated. This fight was going nowhere.
"USE YOU'RE FLAMES PEPPERMINT PUSSY!" I yelled at him in frustration as I kept using my quirk to dodge the ice. I could see frost starting to form on his skin. I was also starting to overuse my quirk.

"I don't want you holding back! I want a fair fight! Come on! You're not Elsa, use your goddamned flames!" I yelled at Todoroki, tired of dodging the ice. I started to glitch, I was overusing my quirk. The more I used it, the more pain surged through my body.

With one final effort I used my quirk to walk over to him and I pushed him over while paused. Blood started to drip down my face. I started to feel really dizzy. I snapped my fingers and just as I was about to get a hit on Todoroki, the dizziness took over and I fell over.
"Amethyst is unable to move... TODOROKI WINS!" Midnight shouted as I fell out of consciousness.

I woke up to the sound of muffled talking.
"What the...." I said quietly to myself.
"She's awake!" Someone said loudly. A huge headache suddenly hit me.
"Quiet down!" I heard Recovery Girl tell the people around me. I opened my eyes and saw the class surrounding me. I was in a hospital bed.

"What happened...?" I asked everyone.
"You passed out after overusing your quirk. You were glitching, you were bleeding, and your eyes turned all black before u passed out." Todoroki explained to me.
"Wait, so who won the festival?" I asked.
"Kacchan did, but he went home since he was... very angry to say the least." Midoriya explained.

AMETHYST! You're okay!" Ethan came running into the room.
"Alright, visiting hours are over." Recovery Girl said, not liking how many people were crammed in the small room. The class left. "She can go home, just make sure she's relaxing." She explained to Ethan.
"Alright. Get changed then let's get home. I'll call you in sick for work." Ethan told me as he left me to get changed.
