The Glitch in Reality [Bnha OC insert]

Chapter 20

The next morning I woke up with bruises scattered throughout my body. Training from the day before was not pleasant. I ended up tapping out after a while of getting my ass kicked. The next day was the same... well, minus the waffles. We had a chill morning bonding, then had an afternoon of training. I began to get used to fighting myself; I started to see my weaknesses. And the day after; Thursday, was the last day of training.

"You know the drill." Robin said as they used their quirk and disappeared, leaving me and my copy to fight. Wasting no time, I snapped my fingers and grabbed my weapon, changing it to a sword. With my weapon in hand I ran over and our swords clashed. Hit after hit, we fought.

"You still can't beat me. You can't defeat yourself!" My copy shouted at me as it swung the sword one way and kick my legs from under me. The copy stood above me, about to stab the sword into me.

"Find the weakness." I said out loud. The copy looked at me confused. "Find your weaknesses and  be the better person!" I yelled as I jammed my sword into the copy's leg and pushed it over. "You always keep yourself open! You never expect any other attack! You even said it yourself, YOU RELY ON YOUR QUIRK TOO MUCH!" I shouted as I slammed my sword into the copy. It shattered into a million pieces, and Robin came back into view after I de-activated my quirk.

"Good job Amethyst!" Robin congratulated me and scooped me up into a hug.
"Thanks." I said as we pulled away.
"I still can't believe how fast the week has gone by."
"Yeah... I really enjoyed my time I had here though..." I mumbled.
"Aw, I did too."

"Bye Amethyst!" Robin yelled to me as I got on the train.
"Bye!" I yelled back just as the doors closed. I sat down and went on my phone. I had one text from Himiko and I hadn't heard from Ethan since he called in the beginning of the week. I decided to check my message from Himi.

Himi: You're heading back today right
Me: Yes
Me: I'm on the train back
Himi: ok
Himi: Can't wait to see you next
Himi: *dog gif*

Something was up, I could tell. Regardless I decided to listen to some music the rest of the train ride back.

As I walked back to the house I saw a cat on the side of the road. It was very small, only a kitten, and it's fur was all messed up. It was very thin and fragile.
"Aw, poor kitty. Come here." I slowly approached it and picked it up. It rubbed against me a purred. "So cute." I thought as I continued walking home.

"I'm home!" I said as I walked into the house with the kitten in my arms. Spencer greeted me at the door and whined, tugging at my shirt to follow him. "Give me a sec, I gotta put my stuff down in my room." I said as I took my shoes off and walked to my room.

"What the fuck?" I said aloud. There was 'Join us' written on the wall in red paint in my room. I put my stuff down, including the kitten, who curled up in my bed and fell asleep. Spencer pulled my shirt more, so I followed him to Ethan's room.

"Why Ethan's- AAAAH! ETHAN!" I screamed. Ethan was laying on the bed, covered in blood. His eyes were shut. "Shit shit shit! Fucking hell what do I do!? Um, shit, pulse. Check his pulse. Call 911." I panicked and grabbed my phone, dialing the emergency number. I then ran up to Ethan and checked his pulse. It was there, but barely.

"911 what's your emergency?" The lady asked in the phone.
"My uh, dad is bleeding out and I need an ambulance or anything fast. I also need police, this seemed targeted cause there was stuff written on the walls and-"
"Calm down, we'll be right there." The lady interrupted and hung up.
"Ethan. Please be okay." I said as I let the tears take over and spill down my face.

About 5 minutes later I heard the sirens and ran to open the door. They came in and put Ethan onto a stretcher.
"Miss, I'm going to have to ask you to stay for a while if you're comfortable with that. We need to question a few things." The woman told me. I nodded and showed her to my room. I grabbed the kitten and Spencer, and pet them stressfully as I sat on the bed.

The police woman rubbed my back in attempt to comfort me as I explained everything. Coming home, the message on the wall, Ethan.
"Alright. Thank you for your help. Do you have anywhere to stay for the time being?" She asked.
"I might be able to stay with a friend, but please don't leave just yet. I'd hate to be alone right now." I said as I went on my phone and pulled up the class group chat I was in. I usually had it muted, but for now I decided it was necessary to ask.

Me: Can I stay at someone's house for a few days
Yaoyorozu: Sure thing, my mother was just talking about having a friend of mine over.
Me: thank you so much
Me: Would I be allowed to bring Spencer and my new kitten
Yaoyorozu: I'm sure that can be arranged.
Me: One more thing, can you pick me up
Yaoyorozu: Yes, I'll send for someone to pick you up. They should be there in about 10 minutes.
Me: okay, thanks

"I'm good. I'll stay with a friend." I said to the police woman as I got up and started to pack my stuff. I put my belongings into my inventory and grabbed the dog food and toiletries too. I gave the kitten a quick bath to make it cleaner, then carried it to the door. I put Spencer on the leash and my shoes on. A few moments later a fancy car drove up and picked me up, driving me to Yaoyorozu's house. I held back my tears and attempted to make myself presentable as the car pulled up to the driveway.
