Two days after the Sports Festival and it was back to school. As I walked to school it was raining, so I brought an umbrella. Not many people were outside, so the only sounds were the odd car driving by and the rain hitting my umbrella.

As I sat down for class Aizawa walked in. I had made it to class just in time.
"Morning." Aizawa greeted us. "Today we've got a special hero's information class."
"Please don't be a pop-quiz." Kaminari begged.
"You'll be coming up with your hero names!" Aizawa said, in a surprisingly enthusiastic tone.

"But before that you will be getting papers with the names of the heroes who want you as their intern. Take your papers home, pick an agency, get the paper signed, and give it back to me." Aizawa explained. On the board, the number of agency's popped up per person. I had 27. Everyone went and grabbed their papers... some having stacks to carry... then sat back down and waited for further instructions.

Aizawa started to explain the next thing, "Now that that's out of the way it's-"
"Time to pick out hero names!" Midnight came in, a little too excited. "Be careful with what you choose, as that might be what the world will call you." Midnight handed out whiteboards and markers. Everyone wrote out their hero names, some took longer than others.

"Alright, we can start with whoever's ready." Midnight explained. I laughed quietly at the first few rejected hero names.
"Amethyst, why don't you go next?" Midnight suggested.
"Uh, sure." I replied and went to the front of the class.

"Glitch Hero: Chara." I said as I flipped my board.
"Chara?" Someone asked.
"Yeah, it's short for character and it's from something..." I tried to think of how to word it without glitching. "Something that caught my eye." Once everyone was done picking their names, class was dismissed. The rest of the day we just had regular classes.

"Hey Amethyst." Ethan greeted me as I got home.
"I got papers for internships. I have like 27 requests." I told him as I took my shoes off.
"Well then, let's see." I spread the papers across the kitchen table. "I can help since I might have worked with a few of these people."

"Hmm, this one's a dick, don't pick him." Ethan pushed pointed at a paper and pushed it off the table. "Oh, and this girl always wants attention." Another paper was pushed off the table. "This guy's a whiny bitch." He pointed at a paper with his name on it.
"Ethan don't say that! Also you picked me?" I asked.
"Yeah, just in case you only got shitty heroes."

After about 20 minutes of going through heroes, I picked an agency. It was a hero who's hero name is 'Reflection'. They had a small agency about an hour away. Ethan knows them pretty well, so I can trust nothing bad will happen. Ethan signed the sheet then I headed to work.

Himiko was waiting for me in the back.
"Hey Himi." I greeted her. She pulled me into a hug.
"What are we? Choose your words wisely" She whispered in my ear. I felt a shiver throughout my body.
"Whatever you want us to be."
"Good answer. Let's go on a date soon."

"I have my internship next week." I explained as I pulled away.
"So how about Saturday?" Himiko asked.
"Sure."
"Meet me here at 7:00 pm on Saturday. And don't be late... Now let's get to work."

On Saturday, Spencer jumped onto the couch and onto me.
"Ow! Spencer!" I complained as I got up. I looked at my phone and the time read 6:56. "Shit! I have a date in 4 minutes!" I yelled and scrambled out of bed.
"A DATE!?" I heard Ethan yell before I used my quirk and got ready so I wouldn't be late.

I wore a Shiba Inu sweater with black pants.Once I was fully ready, I snapped my fingers and told Ethan I was heading out.
"Didn't you say something about a date a few seconds ago?" He asked me as I put on my shoes.
"Maybe~." I said as I made sure I had everything.
"Oooh, who's the boy? Is he-" I slammed the door on Ethan and walked to meet Himi.

Once I got there it was exactly the 7:00. Himiko was waiting for me on the sidewalk. She was wearing a light pink shirt with a flower on it, the flower's red color dripped down. The shirt was paired with a short black skirt and black dress shoes. Her hair was in her usual messy buns. All I could think was, "cute".

"Hi Himi." I greeted her, with a blush on my face.
"Let's go." Himiko said as she grabbed my hand and took me towards a dark alley. My grip tightened in her hand as we passed a few sketchy people. "It's fine, we're nearly there. And by the way, if you tell anyone about this you'll regret it." I nodded and Himi pulled me into an old building.

We went down some stairs and entered what seemed to be an old bar. As I looked more, I saw members of the League of Villains. I held my breath before Himi looked at me with a genuinely normal smile of reassurance.

"You know what to do." Himiko told a certain purple gas villain. He nodded and handed Himi a bag, then made a portal. She pulled me through the portal. We ended up on the side of a clear creek. Himiko took a blanket from out of the bag and placed it down. Surrounding us were flowers of every color. Their petals moved in the slight breeze. There were a few maple trees behind us.

We sat on the blanket and watched the sun set ahead of us. The orange and pink colors of the sunset mixed with the nature around us, created a beautiful scene. Himiko reaches into the bag and grabbed a small box. She face me and opened it. Inside were two rings.
"Promise rings." She told me. "I promise that even though you're a hero, and I'm a villain, that we will always be together. I know this might be a bit quick, and I might be taking this a bit too fast, but I genuinely like you... no... Amethyst, I love you." We both out the rings on.

I smiled and said, "I love you too Himiko." She leaned in and pressed her lips against mine. It was perfect. Just the two of us. We were far away from any of our problems. Even though we are from two completely different worlds, in more ways than one, we still fit together perfectly.

That night we talked and watched the sunset together. Himiko walked me home, and I had a great sleep, dreaming of her. It was like the perfect end to a story. Happily ever after.

But with every happy ending, comes a beginning of sorrow.
