"I bags this room!' i said to my brother, as i held my little sister's hand we wondered up the stairs of the new house.
"Kyla! This is a great room for you!" mum said as she picked up the little girl and placed her in the room across the hall
"Oi y/n! We're sharing a bathroom" Chase said as his head popped out of one of the doors in my room
"You better not move my stuff" i said as i walked into the bathroom
It was massive!
"I think there is enough space" Chase said looking around
"Holy crap, this bathroom is bigger than my old room" i exclaimed as i looked in all the drawers
"Well, we aren't in the City anymore" Chase said as he left the bathroom
I wondered back into my new room, my window being directly opposite to the window of my next door neighbour's house.
"And here are the last of the boxes y/n" dad said as he placed 3 morre boxes into the messy room.
"Thanks dad!" i said as i started to put my clothes into the closet
Before we moved, dad ordered and assembled beds for us so they would be ready for the move. Dad has always been hardworking, and i guess that's why we moved.
I'm y/n, i'm 16 and i just moved from the city, over the bridge, and to the North Shore, a very different place. I have a twin brother, Chase, who is also 16 (obviously) and a little sister Kyla, who is 5. My mum and dad have always been those super chill parents who let us have house parties, and let us go out to friends houses at 3 am, not that they didn't care, they just trusted us and treated us like actual humans.
Dad got a job at a big shot producing company, which is absolutely amazing, also the reason that we had to move, but to be honest, it's a fresh start for my family, and it's not like i moved to another continent where i can't see my old friends.
"Hey y/n, i'm Kyla to check out the skate park, wanna come?" Chase said as held Kyla's hand, she was dressed head to toe in protective gear.
"Yeah sure, let me get ready" i said as chase nodded and walked downstairs with Kyla.
Chase was the best brother anyone could ask for, he was kind and loving, but also super protective of Kyla and I, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
I chucked on a pair of leggings, with a champion t shirt, it is currently the end of January, australian summer, which means school was starting on monday, and it's friday today.
I grabbed my phone and walked down the stairs to find Chase and Kyla.
"Mum, Dad! We're going to the park with Kyla!" Chase yelled as we left the house. We picked up our skateboards from the front yard and started to skate down the street.
For a 5 year old, Kyla was really good at skating, well i mean she learned from Chase.
We found this skate park at the end of the street, a couple of other teenagers were there, and a few girls.
I sat down on a bench, and helped Kyla put her helmet on. She followed Chase as he went down the ramp. I decided that i wasn't going to break my arm, so i just scrolled through my instagram.
"Hey" a blonde girl said as she sat next to me on the bench, i put my phone down
"Hi" i replied back
"Are you new? Im Coco" she said as she held her hand out for me to shake
"I'm y/n and i am new" i said to her as i laughed
"I'm guessing you skate?" Coco said as she looked at my board.
"I try, but i'm shit" i said as she laughed
"Same, i'm only here to pick up my brother" she said as she pointed to the tall boy who was talking to my brother
"Look at that, he's talking to my brother Chase" i said to her
"Wait, he's your brother?" she questioned
"Um yeah" i replied back
"Do you by any chance know Jordan Reeves?" she asked
"He's my cousin!" i said to her
"He's my bestfriend! We go to UNI together, OH MY GOD!" she said as i started laughing
"That is so cool!" i said to her, as Kyla came back to sit next to me
"Oh yeah, Coco, this is my sister Kyla, Kyla this is Coco" i said introducing the two
"Hi, your pretty" kyla said as she walked over Coco
"You are so adorable, i cant handle!" Coco said as she gave Kyla a huge hug
"Umm Coco, are you ready to go now?" the same tall boy from before said, except this time i could see his face, and he wasn't just tall, he was drop dead handsome.
"Ruel, this is y/n, y/n this is Ruel" Coco said
"Hi" i said to him
He just looked at me a nodded.
