Chase ended up with a bloody nose, a couple of scratches and a black eye, though it would have been way worse if Ruel hadn't helped.
Ruel and I dragged Chase into our house, placing him on the couch as i went and got the first aid kit.
"Chase, look up" i said as i put some ointment on his scratches above his eye, and under his chin
"He deserved it" Chase replied
"Yeah, but you can't just throw a punch at someone" i said again as i applied more creams
"He deserved it! I was protecting you!" Chase yelled again
"I don't always need protecting Chase, yeah he said something shitty, doesn't mean i need to punch him!" i replied walking upstairs to my room
At this point i just felt sorry for Ruel, he had to witness all of this because of us. We literally just moved and now we are creating problems for everyone around us.
I listened to what was happening downstairs, I heard ruel trying to calm down Chase, then a door slammed.
"Great" i mumbled to myself as i plopped onto my bed
I then heard 3 knocks on my door
"Go away Chase" i said as the door opened
"Its not Chase" the boy said as he sat on the edge of my bed
"Do you hate me?" i asked Ruel as i turned to face him
"No of course not, why would i hate you?" he asked again
"I've been here for less than a week, and i have brought with me was trouble, like seriously, you have to get involved in all my stupid shit because im dysfunctional" i replied to him
"You aren't dysfunctional, stop telling yourself that" ruel said to me
"I am though! All of the people who I thought were my friends are now using me and now my own brother hates me" i replied, Ruel's face turned confused and sympathetic
"Im sorry, i don't know why i said all that" i said to ruel, who still hadn't opened his mouth
"No, no, its fine, i get it, you can always talk to me" he said as he gave me a hug
The Ruel Van Freaking Dijk gave me a HUG, and i was loving it
We finally pulled away, all the warmth leaving my body
"We better go and find Chase" he said as he grabbed my hand and pulled me up off of my bed
"Fine, but if he punches me this time, its all your fault" i said finally getting up
"Okay okay!" Ruel said laughing
We walked down the street to the park, making small conversation and joking about the most random stuff
"CHASE!" Ruel and I yelled as we walked around the park, it was starting to get dark and i needed to see my uncle later tonight, he wanted to introduce me to someone
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING CHASE!" i yelled as i saw my own brother drinking from a bottle in a brown paper bag
"I'm nnot bbeingg protectiive, im jus a teenmager" Chase replied
"Chase, mate, please come with us, it's getting dark" Ruel said as he helped Chase up from the side of the road and pulled his arm over his shoulder to stabilize him
I grabbed the alcohol and chucked it in the bin
"Sorry again ruel" i said as i started walking next to the boys, throwing Chase's other arm over my shoulder
"It's fine, don't worry about" ruel said with a smile
"y/nnnnn im sowyyyyy" Chase said
"Im not the one you should be saying sorry to" i replied
"Ruellll im sowwyyyyyyyy" chase said
"Thats fine buddy" ruel said as he laughed
We finally got Chase home and somehow managed to get him to his room
"Thankyou so so much ruel" i said as we walked downstairs
"Anytime, bye y/n" he said as he left the house
I looked at the time on my phone, 6:03, that means Kyla is with mum at dancing and Dad is picking me up to take me to the studio to see my uncle
"Chase! Im going now!" i said as i left the house and waited for my dad at the front
Next door i saw Ruel getting in the car as well with his mum, they gave me a little wave as they drove away
"Hey Dad!" i said as i hopped in the car
"Hi honey, you got everything?" he asked
"Yep" i said as he started driving to the studio
After the 20 minute drive, we finally arrived at the studio
"Y/N!!!" Mark yelled as he gave me a hug (m-phazes name is Mark, sorry if thats confusing)
"Hi Uncle Mark!" i said laughing
"There is someone i want you to meet" he said as he lead me into the other room
"Oh okay" i said as i followed him into the next room
I saw a boy in a beanie sitting with a lady
He turned to look at me
"RUEL?!"
