I woke up, my alarm clock screeching at me. It was the first day of my new school, great. Its not like im not excited to start a new school, mainly just hoping that people will like me.
Im so thankful that i know a couple of people, oh and for my brother, who is in all my classes.
I got ready, and put on the green uniform, then i tied my hair up the in matching green ribbon. I quickly sprayed myself with perfume and pulled on my socks and shoes, before running down stairs to grab something quick to eat.
"Hey y/n!" my mum said cheerily as she passed me a piece of toast
"Morning mum" i replied as i sat at the breakfast bar
"Hi mum" Chase said as he came down the stairs
"You guys better get going" mum said again
"Bye mum" chase and i said in unison as we walked out the door, carrying our heavy school bags
We walked down the long street, to the new high school.
As soon as we walked into the school, we were met with stares and whispers from everyone
"Don't look at anyone" Chase whispered as we continued to walk to the office
"Ah, you must be Chase and Y/n, im Sharron, these are your timetables and your locker pins" the lady said as she handed us a couple of sheets.
"Thankyou!" we said as we left the office to find our first class, which was Science.
Mind you, at my old school i almost burned down the building, so its safe to say that im not going to be a scientist when im older
We finally found the classroom
"You knock" i said to chase
"Fine" he said as he knocked on the classroom door
"Im guessing you're the new students?" the teacher said
"Uh yes that's us" i replied, trying not to look at all the staring students
"Take a seat at the back next to Mr Van Dijk" the teacher said as she pointed to the familiar boy
We both sat down, ruel in the middle of us
"Hey guys" ruel whispered
"Hey mate" chase said
"Hi" i replied
I wasn't really paying attention to what the teacher was saying, but something about a test or an assessment, im not quite sure
"Wait what did she say?" i said as i turned to the two boys
"There gonna be a test next tuesday" ruel replied
"Shit" i mumbled
"y/n almost blew up our old school, she isn't good at science" Chase filled ruel in
Ruel started laughing, just as the bell rang
The rest of the classes went smoothly, and then it was lunch
The class before lunch i was with alannah, so she said that chase and i could sit with her friends
"So there is Me, Zeynep, Grace, Bohdi, Dane, Rob and Ruel" she said to Chase and i
"Okay cool" i replied as we continued walking to the tree, in which her friend group sat.
"Guys, this is Y/n and Chase, they're new" Alannah said as she patted a spot next to her for me to sit
"I'm Grace" the girl said as she extended her hand for me to shake
"Hi, im Zeynep" another girl said
"Im Rob, this is Bohdi, Dane and Ruel" a boy said, who was sitting next to Ruel
"They know already know me" ruel said as he ruffled Chase's hair
"How?" Grace said
"He's our neighbour" i responded
"Wow! Ruel's lucky!" dane responded as Alannah wacked him
"What?! It's true!" he said again, which earned him a slap from Grace
The bell rang for last period, which went by really quickly, then it was time to walk home.
Chase told Ruel that we would walk home together
My phone rang just as we started walking home, Ruel and Chase in deep conversation
"Hello?" i answered
"y/n, its me" a voice said through the phone
"Oh um hey Timmy" i replied, Chase looking my way now
"Im outside your house, with my girlfriend, you remember Jenny?" timmy said through the phone
"Wait what?! Why are you at my house tim?" i yelled through the phone, the boys looking at me confused
"Jenny wanted to see Ruel" timmy said again
"Are you crazy Tim? Like are you serious? Leave, drive away" i said, getting angrier now
"We aren't leaving until we see him y/n" timmy said again, this time in a scarier tone
"Timmy, i'll call the police, your not seeing him, leave" i said again
"You wouldn't call the police on your bestfriend, thats not you" he replied
"You don't know me, at least, not this timmy" i said shakily
"What does he want?" Chase asked me, Ruel looking concerned
I just gave the phone to Chase
"What do you want?" Chase said
"Are you fucking kidding me?! Get a life!" Chase said again
"I will, watch me bitch!" Chase said as he hung up the phone
"What was that?" Ruel asked
"It was an asshole from our old school, he's at the front of our house asking for you" Chase replied
"Is this the kid from the other night?" ruel asked as i nodded, tears threatening to fall from my eyes
"What are we going to do man?" Chase asked
"Give him what he wants, a photo" Ruel replied as he gave me a soft smile
"Are you sure" Chase asked
"Yeah, yeah, its fine" Ruel replied as we continued walking home
Outside my house was Timmy's black corolla, he was leaning on the outside of the car, with his girlfriend next to him
"Y/n! How are you?" he said as he tried to hug me, but i just hid behind ruel and Chase
"Jeez, what happened to her?" Timmy said as he laughed and Chase gave him a death stare
"Anyway, can my girl get a photo?" timmy said again
"Uh sure" Ruel said as he stood next to the girl, and barely smiled
"Thankyou so much, im a huge fan! Bye y/n!" jenny said as she got back in the car
"Thanks again, oh and y/n, try being less of a bitch next time" Timmy said as he turned to get back into his car
Before he could open the door, Chase punched him
"CHASE STOP!" i yelled as i tried to pull him of the boy
Ruel grabbed me and pulled me back behind him
"Dont worry" Ruel said to me as he tried to pull chase of Timmy
