I woke up, early, i was going to school today, i felt way better.
I still hadn't got a text from ruel, so i decided to text him
I sent the simple: hiiii :)
He just left me on read, what happened to him?
I got ready for school, doing the usual routine, you get the gist
We were late to school today cause Chase lost his pants and it took him half an hour to find them again
we barely made it to first period
the class i had with ruel
"hey" i said as i say down in my usual spot next to him
no response
"are you okay?" i asked him
no response
"okay?" i said as i continued doing my work
the class went by without ruel talking to me, like at all
i hung around Grace a lot at recess and lunch, alannah didn't come to school today and Ruel wasn't talking to me.
"okay so, i found this really cute boy yesterday while i was working my shift, andddd he asked me for my number and i'm seeing him again this weekend" Grace said excitedly
"oh my god grace! i'm so happy for you" i said to her, out of all people, grace was the sweetest, she cared about other people more than herself
"i know right! and he lives in the street across from mine!" she said again
the walk home was weird, Chase was talking to Ruel and Ruel was only talking to Chase, i don't know what i did to him
"bye ruel" i said as i walked into my house
no response
"are you two good?" Chase asked once we got inside
"i don't know, we were fine 2 days ago, but something happened and he isn't talking to me"
i said to Chase
"did you say anything to him?" Chase asked
"nope! i haven't spoken to him since the hospital, i texted him but he left me on read" i said looking through the fridge
"maybe he's tired or something, he has a lot on his plate" chase said shrugging
"true" i responded as i went to my room to start on my homework
*RiNg rInG*
"hello?" i answered
"oh y/n, it's me Seb" the voice said
"sebby?" i asked,
"yep it's me! how have you been y/n? i got a new phone finally" he said
"baby im so happy for you" i said to him
"my brother has soccer training near your new house tonight and i was wondering if you wanted to catch up?" he asked
"of course! i'm free anytime" i said to him
"i'll come by your house at 4:30 and we can walk around maybe?" he said again
"sure! see you there" i said as we hung up
i missed sebby so much, he was my best friend, he moved schools around the same time i did, he was bullied a lot. Mainly cause he was gay. I missed him so much
"CHASE SEBBY IS COMING OVER" i yelled
"SEBBY?? THE ONE WHO HAD A CRUSH ON ME?!" Chase yelled back
"YES" i replied
"COOL TELL HIM I SAID HI" he said as i got ready
i waited outside in my front yard, just sitting on the grass, chilling
Ruel's POV
she looked so peaceful, sitting their calmly, without any worry in the world, what happened to us?
why?
then i saw her get up, and walk towards a boy, already?
they then walked off together, into the distance, like a happy fucking couple
at least she is happy i guess
Y/N's POV
"sooo, is there anyone significant in your life right now?" Sebby asked
"well, there is Ruel, he's my boyfriend, but he hasn't been talking to me for the past 2 days and i don't know what i did" i said to him
"ruel as in the singer ruel?" Seb asked
"that's him" i replied
"oh my god he is so hot, anyways, maybe you accidentally said something to him, or maybe someone else said something to him" Sebby replied
"what do you mean" i asked him, sebby knew a lot about these things
"well, maybe someone bagged you, said something to ruel that made you look bad" he said again
"who would do that though?" i asked him
"depends, does anyone else like him?" he asked
"i don't think so" i said again
"i could be wrong, maybe just ask him" Sebby said as we started walking home
"i'll try talk to him" i said as we walked down the road
"i will, thanks sebby" i said as we got to my house and he unlocked his car
"it was really nice seeing you y/n" he said as he came a gave me one last hug
"you too seb, love you lots" i said to him as he got in his car and drove off
"i'm backkkk!" i said as i opened the front door
"hi loser how was Seb?" Chase said
"he was good" i said to him as i went upstairs to call ruel
call denied
call denied
call accepted
"hello?" a voice from the other line answered
"can we talk?" i asked him
"there isn't anything to talk about" he said, keeping the same monotone voice
"why have you been avoiding me?" i asked him
"you know why" he replied
"um no i don't" i said to him, getting angrier
"don't act stupid" he said
"what?" why where his words making me want to burst into tears?
"just leave me alone y/n" he said as he hung up
i cried into my pillow
we left for tour in 4 days and ruel and i aren't even talking, great
Ruel's POV
i cant belive she acted like nothing happened?
like she didn't say that to me
what did i even do to deserve this?
Y/N's POV
There was no way that i was going to school, i couldn't show my face
Are we even dating anymore? can i still call him my boyfriend after he told me to leave him alone? did someone say something to him about me? what did i do to deserve this?
