The alarm woke me up this time, instead of Chase's face

I got dressed and walked downstairs

"Im sorry about last night" Zoe said to me

"It's fine" i said as i walked outside of my house, waiting for Chase to get ready

"Hi y/n!" Ruel's mum said as she walked to her car

"Hi Mrs Van Dijk!" i replied

"Are you okay?" she asked

"Yeah, Im just waiting for my brother" i said to her

"Oh okay, have a good day at school!" She said as she hopped into her car and waved goodbye

"IM READY!" Chase said as he come out the door, still adjusting his tie

"About time, you take longer than me!" i said to him as we started walking

"WAIT!" a voice said from behind us

"Im coming!" Ruel said as he ran to us

"Morning baby!" Chase said as he gave ruel a hug

"Morning babes!" Ruel said

"Hiiiii y/nnnnnn" ruel said as he came and gave me a hug

"Hiiiii ruellllllllll" i replied to him, trying to hid my blushing cheeks

"Get a room, the frick" Chase said as he broke the hug off

"So you guys coming to the beach today?" Ruel asked

"Of Course we are coming baby!" Chase said to Ruel

"Im glad babe" Ruel said to Chase

"Get a room!" I said as I walked into the school gates with the boys

School was a drag, literally boring as hell, and to make things worse, I wasn't in any classes with my friends, I was COMPLETELY alone.

The bell for the end of school finally rang, and I got up immediately and packed my things up, before going to find Chase

"Sup bitch!" i said to my brother who was at his locker

"Sup homo!' he replied

"You ready?" he asked as he shut his locker

"Yeah lets go" i said to him

The others were going to meet us there, so we were all getting there separately, Chase and i were catching the bus there, cause mum had the car today

We first had to walk home, to go get changed, then we had to walk to the bus stop, fat effort/

After waiting forever for Chase to get his shit ready, we finally were able to get onto the bus, it was only about a 10 minute trip, so we weren't going to be that late

The beach wasn't that busy, but it was wavy, which meant more chance of me drowning, but let's yolo it.

"Hi guys!" i said as we finally found our friends

"Heyyyy!" they all said

"Grace oh my god, i haven't seen you in ages" i said as i gave Grace a hug

"I had to go to Melbourne for basketball all week, so i missed out on heaps" she explained

"y/n, get ur ass in the water!" Alannah yelled at me from the shallow end

"Ugh fine!" i said back as i grabbed Grace up with me and we raced into the water

"EWWW ITS COLD!" Grace and I exclaimed at the same time

"Calmmmm downnnnnnn" ruel said as he pushed me in further

"You wanna kill me?" i said to him, shivering

"Nooo, but i want to get in the water" he said to me

"Yeah y/n, don't be a pussy" Chase said as he jumped into the water

"If I drown, it's on you" I said to them as I got further in the water

"See, it aint that bad" Ruel said to me

"Bitch, im dying, literally dying" I said to him, still shivering

"You're going to be fine y/n, trust me" he said with a smile

Why did i feel like i could actually trust him? Like i've known him my whole life. This was so weird, ruel saying trust me, making me blush, what is he doing to me?

We chilled in the water for a bit, then i got dunked, and ran out.

"So y/n, whats been happening?" Bohdi asked as i finally got back to the sand

"Nothing much, what about you?" i asked him

"Same old" he said

"I was wondering if you wanted to maybe go on a date with me this saturday night? I think it could be fun" Bohdi said

Ruel's POV

I saw bohdi talking to y/n, which already wasn't a good sign, i quickly got out of the water and started walking back to our towels

"-maybe go on a date with me this saturday night? I think it could be fun" he said,

What gave him the right to take my girl? I mean y/n

"Oh um"i heard y/n trying to find the right words

"Well actually, im hanging out with y/n on Saturday, sorry mate" i said

Y/N's POV

Come again?

Ruel was taking me out on saturday?

When did this happen?

I looked at him with a confused look

He just smiled

"Uh yeah, sorry Bohdi" i said to the boy

"Thats fine, maybe another time?" he asked

"Sure" i said with a chuckle

It was getting late and we were walking back home, with Ruel of course

Chase was on the phone to someone, probably Alannah

"Sooo, where are you taking me on Saturday?" I asked him

"Depends, where do you want to go?"

"Hmmmm wherever you think" i said to him

"I have the perfect place" he said

"Tell me!" I exclaimed, i don't like surprises

"Nope, you're going to have to wait and see!" he said as he ran to his house, leaving me confused and laughing
