after christina got back from her meetings we went to dinner before finally turning in for the night. zach was in his room so i took that as an opportunity to talk to christina about my "feelings"

"i just don't know if I'm hurt over tyler and im trying to use zach as a rebound or not. i just know i feel a lot better with zach by my side."
"maybe without tyler you're realizing you never got over zach."
"i don't know. we should probably go to bed. you have an early meeting. night chris."

"night jade." i lay on my back, i stare up at the ceiling in the pitch black room. i wasn't over zach but i already knew that. I've always known that though. i end up leaving the room, walking down to the lobby, there were still a few people down here since it was only ten at night.

"jade? hey?" as i sit down on the bench by the hotel doors zach comes over to me. guess he couldn't sleep either. "hi. can't sleep?"
"no. you?"
"yeah." he sits next to me and i lay my head on his shoulder. we spend the next two hours talking about everything and anything.

finally at 12:14 we decide to go to our rooms and get some rest and because their was the night manager staring at us with an annoyed look. although we did make plans for tomorrow, we decided on going ice skating which i know i am not going to be good at.
"goodnight zach. i missed us being friends."
"goodnight jade. i missed being friends too."

i went inside my room and saw christina was slightly awake. "i heard you leave and wanted to be up when you came back."
"sorry, i went to get some air. zach was down there so we just talked."
she smiled and instantly fell back asleep.
