"daniel if you don't hurry up i will hit you." i was at daniels house, waiting for him to get into my car. i was giving him a ride to school today since his car was currently in the shop. "looking this good takes time."
"oh shut up." he picks up his pace and begins jogging to my car.

"so how'd your parents react to the whole band thing?" i turn down the radio after my question so i could hear better. "actually they're both for it. I'm glad they're supportive." he's smiling which makes me smile. "I'm glad. i just know you guys are going to be doing great things."

"thank you jade. it means a lot to all of us that you and christina are so supportive of us."
"im glad we're friends again daniel."
"me too jade." we finally pull up to the school, daniel gets out first and grabs both of our backpacks. once I'm out of the car daniel hands me my bag and we head over to corbyns car.

"hey! how's my favorite person doing?" before i could even respond to zach, daniel speaks up first. "I'm doing great zach." i lightly punch daniels shoulder and walk over to stand next to zach. "walk to my locker with me?" i nod at zach and we say goodbye to the group and walk inside the school.

"what's up?"
"i talked to my dad again last night."
"what'd he say?"
"he wasn't going to be fully supportive of it but he understands that it's what i want to do." i reach out and hold his hand. "that's good zach. I'm glad he's trying." he opens his locker and grabs the things he needed from inside.

"i have to get to class. see you later?"
"of course. after school meet me by the front doors." i nod and wave to him before heading upstairs to my classroom. "hi jade!"
"oh hi tate." i think this is the first time she's spoken to me when it wasn't for a project.

"so i have a question. don't be offended about it." i slowly nod my head, it's most likely about zach. "you and tyler broke up correct? and you're now with zach?"
"yeah... what's this about tate?"
"i just think he's cute but i heard he's still like heartbroken over you. think you could talk to him?"

"talk to my ex boyfriend and see if he would date you?" she shrugs, "you don't have to obviously. i just figured since you're with zach you wouldn't mind."
"i mean i don't mind. it's just we haven't even really talked since we broke up."

"i totally get it. it's fine."
i look over my shoulder at him, he was laughing with a few guys from the basketball team. when he caught my gaze he waved. i waved back and turned back to tate, "i can't make any promises but I'll try and talk to him."
"thank you so much!"
"yeah no problem tate."
