it was after school and i waited outside the front doors for jade. she finally walks out, five minutes later with daniel and christina by her side. "hi zach! change of plans actually. i forgot i already made plans with daniel and christina so I'll see you tomorrow?."

"oh yeah that's fine." they walk away from me and get into their separate cars before driving away from the school. "now what am i going to do?"
"zach! zachary dean!" someone yells from across the room. i turn and face the direction of the voice, "oh hey gabbie."
"hi! so i have a question for you."
"what is it?" gabbie was my partner for the science fair two years in a row.

she's super nice too. "are you single? not for me! for my best friends sister, she's a year younger than you and i think you two would hit it off." i shake my head, "sorry it's just i kind of have this thing with jade and i don't want to ruin it."

"jade valentine? like your ex?"
"yeah we're kind of a thing again."
"oh well tate will be okay, she really wanted her sister to have someone. she's been hooked on this one guy who she won't spill who it is."

"wait? tate? like tate cook? as in kay cook?"
"yeah! does that change your mind?" she winks and lets out a laugh. "um no- i just- no. sorry."
"it's fine. have a great day zach!"
she walks away, which leaves me alone at my car.

"okay so basically it really all started in California. kinda."
i explain what happened in California, most of which christina already knew so it was mostly just daniel listening.

"then i went to his house and we talked and i told him about what tyler asked me. and well we kind of said i love you." they both gasp, "wait so are you two together?"
"i mean neither of us asked but i mean we're kind of a thing?"

"cute! oh my cuteness! MY FAVORITES!"
"daniel please calm down." christina says as she slaps his arm, he quickly throws his hand up to cover the spot, "ow! what the heck chris?"

"jade! christina hit me!"
"stop acting like children, you guys are seniors in high school."
"sorry jade..."
