Chapter 11:Popcorns And Meadows

I haven't been to Charilot for a week. I really miss it. I miss my family. Even Gomin and his parents haven't showed up. It's a Friday and I'm sitting in Math class. No Gomin to make me laugh.

"Mickey." the teacher came up to my desk and whispered. "Where's Gomin?"

"I don't know." I replied. But I actually did.

"Oh. I thought you would know. The class is boring without him." said Mr. Bolton.

I stared at the teacher, shocked.

"B-boring?" I asked.

"What? It's true. He made it a bit more fun although he does go a bit too far."

I nodded in agreement. After a few minutes that felt like forever, the school bell rang.

I walked to my locker and put back my books and took out the ones I needed to take home for the weekend. I closed my locker and walked outside. I found Hilary and Danny talking.

"Hey guys." I said walking towards them.

"Hi." they both said.

"What you guys talking about?" I asked.

"Nothing. Where is Gomin? Haven't seen him for the past few days." said Hilary.

Danny made an irritating sound.

"I don't know." I said, shrugging.

"I thought you would know why he hasn't been coming to school since you live right next door to him." Hilary said.

I shrugged not knowing what to say. I missed Gomin and I really hoped that he would be coming back but I don't know anything. And the things I did know, well I can't really tell Hilary and Danny.

"Anyways" said Danny.

"Anyways, Danny and I were making plans to go out on Saturday. Wanna come?" Hilary asked.

I hesitated. I was planning to go to Charilot on Saturday and spend 4 days since that will be only 2 days here.

"Guys, I can't."

"Why not?" asked Danny.

"Because I have plans."

"What plans?" asked Hilary.

"Did you make plans with Gomin.?" Danny asked.

"No I did not. And it's a secret." I said wiggling my eye brows, making it sound like a joke.

"Whatever. Your loss." said Hialry.

"Well, I'll catch you guys later. Bye." I said.

"See ya." they both said.

I made my way towards my house. Jace and Janet were already home and so was mom. I walked towards the living room since that's where they all were.

"Hi guys. Mom, I'm going to sleep over at my friends house tomorrow." I said raising my eye brow so she can understand that I mean I'm going to the other world.

"Uh?" she said. Then she realized what I mean. "Oh. Ok sure. Have fun."

"I'm going tomorrow. I'll be back Sunday night." I explained.

"Whose your friend?" asked Jace and Janet, simultaneously.

"Uh-you know. Actually you don't know her. New kid." I said.

They both shrugged and I went up stairs. I kept thinking about Charilot and how much fun the next four days will be. I was very excited. All I had to do was imagine my favorite place and..... I suddenly realized that my favorite place is in Carsim territory. I can't find my way to Chari territory. What to do? What to do..?
