Chapter 14: Cookies And Bracelet

It was my last day in Charilot. I spent the previous day mostly with my mom and dad. They told me many things about my childhood and I enjoyed it.

We bonded.

"Do you have to go?" Gomin asked.

"Yes. I told you many times, I have school tomorrow." I replied.

"But why don't you skip just one day?" Robby asked.

"Because everyone will wonder where I am and I wouldn't know what to say." I said.

"Oh and lets not forget Danny." said Gomin. I rolled my eyes.

"You really are jealous of Danny." Kate said, laughing.

"I'm not." he argued, crossing his arms.

"Well, visit soon!" Kameron said.

"I will, I will."

"Well guys, I have to go now." I said.

"Fine." Gomin said with a sad look.

We all hugged and I closed my eyes to imagine a place. I decided that it was safer to do it somewhere a bit far from my house but I wasn't sure where until I thought about the ice cream shop. I can imagine the bathroom and go to an empty one.

The door appeared and I got the key.
I waved goodbye one more time and walked through the door.

I started my way home. It wasn't that late. I could see the sunset.

I walked home and opened the door.
"I'm home." I yelled.

"MIIIICCCCKKKKEEEEYYYY" Jace and Janet came yelling and gave me a big hug, knocking me off my feet.

"Wow. Hi guys. Missed me?" I said, with a smile.

"It was soooo boring without you." Jace said.

"Of course." I said laughing.

"We didn't have anyone to prank." Janet continued.

"Well, I'm glad you missed your pranking doll." I said sarcastically.

"Anyways I have to go take a shower. See you guys later." And with that I left to my room.

I jumped on my bed and laid down on my back. I sighed.

I decided to check my phone for missed calls or messages since I left my phone at home before going to Charilot.

16 missed calls and 6 messages.

4 messages from Danny and 2 messages from Hilary.

I texted them saying sorry I didn't answer them and that I would see them tomorrow.

I took shower and went to eat dinner with my family.

It's been 2 months or so since I found out about my past. I've been going to Charilot almost every weekend and sometimes I even go on weekdays.

"Class is dismissed." Mr. Bolton said.

I got up and smiled, happy that I can go home now. It had been a boring day and I wanted to go home and text Gomin and read a book.

"Hi Mickey, wanna hang out?" Danny asked, walking beside me.

"Uh, I can't today. I have a lot of homework to do." I replied.

"Oh." Just then Hilary joined us.

"Hi Mickey. Wanna hang out today?" She asked.

"She can't. She has homework." Danny said, bitterly.
