Chapter 19: Warnings And Invitations

I slowly walked towards my bed. I didn't want to read the letter. If it was another threat or something, I wouldn't know what to do.
I carefully picked it up and saw the cursive handwriting that I know I will never forget.

"Aloha Mickey
Long time, no see. Forgot about me? I hope not! Sorry about the.....threat last time but I had to warn you or else you would have told the wrong people.... Anyways, watch out for Tori, will you. Maybe even Fany. But especially Stark. Carsims can't be trusted. I'm sure you know that.

I stared down at the letter, blinking. I furiously threw it on the floor and sat down on my bed. I can't believe this. Fany? Tori? Stark? This person is trying to make me doubt my friends. But if he was the enemy, then why help me find the bracelet?

I was confused and these letters weren't helping. At times he seemed to be a friend looking out for me and other times he seemed like an enemy threatening me. And this person must have spies. Or else how would he know that I found out about a Carsim betraying us. It can't be the kings and queens or the kids.

I sighed and got up to take a shower. After I was done, I thought about going to Gomins room to show him the letter. It was crumbled up on the floor. I picked it up and reread it.

I'll show it to Gomin tomorrow and with that I fell asleep.

"WAKE UP. WAKE UP. WAAAAKE UUUUP!"

I fell out of bed and on the floor, scared to death. I sat up looking horrified to see Gomin laughing his butt off.

"Yo-your f-face. Y-you loo-looked s-s-so scared. " he laughed.

I gave him a glare and got up.

"What the heck was that for?" I demanded, furiously.

"Wow. Chill." he said, chuckling.

"Don't. Tell. Me. Too. Chill."

"Someone is not a morning person."

I rolled my eyes. "Why did you wake me up?"

He shrugged. "I was bored."

I looked at him, disbelievingly. I expected him to tell me some news at least.

"Get out of my room." I said. "I can't believe you woke me up because you were bored."

He suddenly looked hurt. I sighed. "I'm sorry."

He smiled. "I want a hug." I smiled and opened my arms. He gave me a bear hug that almost killed me. "Ok. Enough. Can't. Breath."

He laughed and let me go. "So what's new?" he asked, jumping on my bed.

I rolled my eyes at him and sat down. My eyes wandered off to the floor and I saw the letter. I fell asleep with it in my hands and it must have fallen on the ground when Gomin woke me up.

"Actually there is something new." I said, picking up the letter.

He looked at it and groaned. "Not this again." I handed him the paper and he read it.

He read it several times before throwing it on the floor, frustrated.

"Ugh. This guy is really starting to piss me off." he said, looking furious.

I've never seen Gomin that mad.
"Calm down."

"No. Don't tell me to calm down. This is not ok. This person is making us doubt our friends whom we are supposed to trust and we can't even tell our families. And we aren't even sure if the person is on our side. He could be a Malign for all we know."
