*Recap*"Th-his is the bracelet that was lost. The one the Maligns used to create the prophecy." Gomin explained, looking shocked.
Suddenly I felt a shiver run up my spine. I looked at the bracelet.
"So did you guys find anything you want?" Tori said, surprising us. I quickly put the bracelet in my pocket before she could see it.
"Uh ya. I want this one." I said, pointing at a random cookie.
Gomin being Gomin took his sweet time to actually pick a nice treat. I guess even the most powerful bracelet isn't as important as treats.
We thanked Tori and left.
I gave Gomin a look that said "Are you serious."
"What." he said. "I wanted a cookie!"
I rolled my eyes.
"But lets be serious for a second...." I started but Gomin interrupted me.
"I am serious! This is food we are talking about."
"Oh my goodness. Ok." I replied, rolling my eyes. "Anyways, what do we do with the bracelet?"
"I-I don't know. I didn't honestly think we would fine IT. I mean, it's been lost ever since the prophecy was made. I'm still very shocked and honestly I don't think it's the real one." he said.
"What?" I exclaimed. "Your the one who told me that it was The Bracelet."
"Well, ya. But now that I think about it, it's impossible. I mean, everyone and I mean EVERYONE has been looking for it and this whole time it was stuck under the counter in a cookie shop? And why was it even there? Who put it there?"
"I don't know. Do you think it might be Tori?" I asked.
"No."
"How could you be so sure?"
"Because Laris are on our side. And if a Lari knew where it was, then they would have told us."
"But there could be bad Laris." I said, being reasonable.
"Not that bad. Trust me. It doesn't work like that."
"Ok." I wasn't fully convinced. No matter what you think, there are a few people that can pretend to be on your side but actually be on the enemies side, especially in a war. And this is war.
This is what reading books has thought me!

"I still don't think we should tell anyone."Gomin and I were sitting in the main room, arguing weather or not we should tell anyone. I was against telling. I know that we should let people know so that they can help but I couldn't stop thinking about Z. I didn't know if he was on our side or not.
"Look, we need help and obviously this is very important. We could finally break the spell."
"I know that, Gomin but....I don't know."
I just really had a bad feeling about telling anyone especially my parents and the other grown ups.
"Lets just not tell anyone for now." I said.
"Ok. But we should hide it. Just in case."
"Ok. Lets go to my room and see if we can find a good hiding place."
"K." We both got up and went to my room.
My heart started to beat faster when I looked at my bed. Another letter. I rushed to it and Gomin followed.
