"I'll see you guys soon."
I opened the door to step through and go back home.

"Don't be a stranger." Stark called out.

I laughed. Stark and Gomin came to drop me off. I said my goodbyes to everyone already.

"Well bye." I called out.

"Bye."

And with that, I stepped through the door. I ended up at the front door of the ice cream shop next to my house.
I walked to my house. I still haven't told anyone other than Rob and Sadie that I will be coming today. It's Christmas morning here. No one is awake since its 5am.
Luckily I put on a jacket so I wasn't very cold but I was still freezing anyway. I walked home and knocked on the door. Of course no one came to answer so I took out the keys to the front door. I slowly unlocked the door and walked in. I decided to make hot chocolate.

While I was sipping my hot chocolate, I heard someone coming down the stairs. Then I heard whispers.

"Are you sure you heard something?" Janet whispered.

"Yes. I'm sure." Jace replied.

I smiled.

"Hi guys. No need to whisper." I called out.

"Mickey?" they simultaneously said. Oh I missed that.

"Missed me?" I teased.

They raced and gave me a big hug that knocked me down. I fell on my back and laughed.

"I'll take that as a yes." I joked.

Suddenly Jace punched me.
"Ow. What was that for?"I whined, rubbing my shoulder.

"Why did you stay away for so long?" Jace said.

"We thought you forgot about us!" Janet exclaimed.

"Aw guys, you know I would never forget about you guys." I said, feeling touched.

"Well, Merry Christmas." they simultaneously said.

I laughed. "Merry Christmas."

Just then my parents came downstairs, rubbing their eyes. They saw me and gave me hugs.

"Oh Mickey, we missed you so much." dad said.

"Missed you too, dad." I replied. "I like what you guys did to the house, by the way." I added

The house was decorated with lights and a Christmas tree. It looked beautiful and I missed it all. There were gifts under the tree.

I took out the gifts I bought my family and put it under the tree.

"Yay. You didn't forget my gifts." the twins simultaneously cheered.

I chuckled. "Yes, I didn't forget your gifts. Now come on, lets make hot chocolate and open the gifts."

And we did just that. It was a pleasant Christmas and I did miss my family. We might not be blood related but they were the ones that were there for me. That watched me grow.

Around 10am, I decided to head to Danny's house. I was texting him and Hilary yesterday and they told me that they were celebrating Christmas at Danny's house. I couldn't wait to surprise them.

I put on a black coat and black boots and walked to the front door.

"Are you sure you don't want a ride?" my mom asked.

"No. It fine. I want to walk. I'll see you guys later. Merry Christmas." And with that I left.

It was cold and snow was slowly falling. I looked up and a snowflake landed on my nose. I smiled and continued my way.
