Chapter 20: Dances And Maligns

I woke up early in the morning feeling nervous. Today was the day of the Christmas dance. I was scared that the kids wouldn't like me.

I sighed and got up. I decided to go downstairs. I went to the main room and stopped dead in my track, shocked.

There sitting on the floor at 7am was Kameron.

He looked up and saw the expression on my face.

"Don't look so shocked." he said.

I shook my head and smiled.

"How come your awake?" I asked, taking a seat next to him on the floor.

Kate answered. "He is nervous. About the dance with Livy."

Kameron sighed. "No I'm not."

Just then Gomin walked in.

"Gooooood morning." he said, sitting next to Kate on the couch. "Wow, how come Kameron is awake?"

"Seriously people, I can wake up in the morning." Kameron defended

"Whatever." Kate said.

We ate breakfast in silence, everyone lost in their own thoughts.
Shockingly, Robby came downstairs.

"Oh. Good morning Robby." I said as he sat down next to me.

"Good morning guys." he said, sounding cheerful.

"Why so cheerful?" Gomin asked.

"No reason." He smiled.

"Oh please. He asked Melissa to the dance and she said yes." Kate said, rolling her eyes.

We all laughed. We talked some more and I felt happy. Truly happy. Robby was talking like he always did.

"Hi guys. Heard today is the Christmas dance." Levin said as he and Lorain walked in.

We haven't seen them for a while. Them and my parents have been going on countless of meetings with the other kings and queens. Kate told me that it was always like this when it was almost time for someone to disappear.

"Yup." Gomin said.

"You guys want me to drive you there?" Levin asked.

"Or they can take the limo. It is a special occasion." Lorain suggested.

We all agreed to take the limo. We also decided to pick up Chase, Melissa and Livy on our way.

The boys then said they were gonna go shopping for suits and Kate said she was going to go do some last minute stuff.

I ended up being on my own. I didn't know what to do. I already had enough dresses so I didn't need to go shopping. I started texting my friends when Stark came.

"Hello girl." he said.

"Hi boy. Where is Fany?" I asked.

"You know girls. She's doing some last minute stuff for the dance."

"Yup same with Kate and the boys went to buy a suit. So I'm bored."

"Cool. Lets be bored together."

I laughed and we sat there doing our own thing. 5 minutes later Stark suggested we go out.

"Where?"

"Water Park?" he suggested.

I smiled. That was the first place he took me when we went out.
