Before I was able to add another word, a beautiful woman with curly blond hair approached us. Nakasuot siya ng isang elegant body-hugging dress.
"Margarette?" gulat na tanong ni Luke.
Margarette? Ang ex-fiancee ni Luke?
"Markus, you are back! It has been years since I last saw you. I missed you so much!" sabi ni Margarette sabay yakap kay Luke.
Nabigla na lang ako nang hinalikan niya si Luke sa harapan ko. Wala man lang pakialam kahit kasama ko si Luke. Masyadong mapupusok ang halik ni Margarette. Wala akong choice kundi ibaling ang tingin ko sa iba. Hindi ko ata kayang panoorin ang nakakasulasok na passionate kissing scene nila.
"Margarette, I am with someone," sabi ni Luke sabay bahagyang tulak kay Margarette.
Tinignan ako ni Margarette na parang isa akong lower kind of species compare to her. She looked at me as if she despised my presence.
Sabagay, anak siya ng billionaire. Ano pa nga ba ang aasahan ko sa mga tulad niya?
"Are you a friend of Markus?" tanong niya sa akin
"Yes," I shortly answered.
As soon as she heard my response, she quickly turned her gaze away from me as she faced Luke. Kulang na lang sabihin niya sa akin na maglaho ako sa kinakaupuan ko ngayon.
"Baby, you don't know how happy I am to see you here in Feldkirch. I am sorry, baby. I followed my father's orders before and I know I was wrong to do so. Because of him, my previous marriage turned out to be a disaster."
Baby mo si Luke? Alam mo ba na ako ang kasama ng baby mo gabi gabi?
"I forgave you, Margarette. That was all in the past."
"I am divorced now and there is no reason for my father to stop us. Come on, my father is here for a business meeting and I want you to finally meet him. This time, I will fight for you," sabi ni Margarette sabay hila sa kamay ni Luke.
Luke was caught by surprise and he followed Margarette politely.
"Chloe, just give me a few minutes," mahinang sabi niya sa akin with his apologetic eyes.
"Take your time, Luke," nakangiti kong sagot sa kanya.
Utang ko kay Luke ang buhay ko at siya ang reason kung bakit buhay pa ko ngayon. He deserves to find his true love once again kahit masakit pa sa akin ito.
I left as soon as I could as I felt out of place in their perfect royal love story.
