HINDI ko kinaya ang grand reunion ni Luke at ni Margarette. The pain of seeing Luke with Margarette is too much for me to handle.

Noong nawala si Xander, kinaya ko ang sakit kahit niloko pa niya ako. And yet with Luke, it is different. Parang nadurog ang mundo ko sa maliliit na piraso.

I am hurt, jealous and most of all angry. I am angry for falling madly and deeply in love with him so fast. Wala akong alam na ibang gawin kundi lumayo sa kanya.

With the help of some locals, nakapunta ko sa isang malapit na airport called St. Gallen Altenrhein airport. Hindi muna ko bumalik sa Pilipinas at pinuntahan ko si Ashton sa New York. Hindi ko ata kakayanin ang mag-isa sa sakit na nararamdaman ko ngayon.

"Ash, si Janice ang may pakana ng pagtatangka sa buhay ko at sa buhay ni daddy."

"Is that for real? OMG Chloe, I didn't have any clue. Your stepmother is great. How can she even do that?"

Ipinaliwanag ko kay Ashton kung paano ako tumakas kay Janice at kung paano ko nailigtas ni Luke Torres ng ilang beses.

"Selos lang 'yan, dear. Hindi ka naman nag-react ng ganyan nang niloko ka ni Xander. Tell me, mahal mo na si Luke?"

"I don't know."

"Chloe? You can't hide anything from me."

"Ok fine! Yes! Mahal ko na siya! I am so madly in love with that man! Masaya ka na?"

"I knew it! At alam ko din na hindi mo talaga mahal si Xander. You just said yes to him because he is kinda pushy. Pride mo lang ang nasaktan nang niloko ka niya."

"Ash, I loved Xander."

"Nope, hindi mo siya mahal, girl. You just like him because of his Give A Shelter foundation for homeless people which remind you of your mom's dedication to the poor."

"Ewan ko, siguro tama ka nga. The moment I met Luke, it seems like Xander is completely insignificant in my life. Mali ba ako na nakalimutan ko siya agad?"

"Tama lang 'yon, Chloe! Niloko ka ng hinayupak na si Xander! That asshole cheated on you with your own step sister and I am glad that you found your one true love."

"And yet, I lost him," mahina kong sagot sabay lagay ng palad sa mukha ko.

"I will not be staying for long, Ash. Babalik din ako sa Pilipinas para tulungan ang daddy sa funeral. I know that he is also devastated from what happened," sabi ko sabay sandal sa balikat ni Ashton.

"Your dad made it appear na isang heart attack ang nangyari kay Janice. Hindi ko alam kung hahangaan ko siya o magagalit ako sa kanya. The woman nearly killed both of you."

"Mahal ng daddy si Janice. Magkakaroon ng commotion sa company once they found out that Janice smuggled massive amount of money. Not to mention that she also tried to kill us."
