it was the next day at like 6:00. troy has asked me to come over and i said i was coming. he said he was at practice but i could go up to his room until he gets back. i put on a grey crewneck and purple leggings.

i walked into his house and saw his mom and a few of her friends sitting at the counter drinking wine.
"hi blair!" she said, running over to hug me. "i'm having my yearly christmas party. would you like to join?"
"oh, that's okay, i don't want to intrude." i said politely. "no problem, one of the moms canceled anyways so come sit," she said, bringing me to the counter.
"this is blair, she's troys girlfriend," she said. "oh, actuall-" i began, but the other moms interrupted. "how cute." "she's pretty!" they said before i finished. i said thank you.
"would you like to help me make the cookies? i always find a way to mess them up," troys mom said. i stood up and went to read the package. i preheated the oven and took the cookies out. they were already made but frozen so you just had to put them in the oven.
troy walked in the house with his bags over his shoulders. "hey mom is bla," he said, before noticing i was in the kitchen.
"hi honey! we're making cookies," she said, excitedly. troy nodded and motioned for me to go upstairs with him. "see you later blair!" she said.
"sorry about my mom," he said. "oh it's okay. she is super nice."
troy sat down on his chair and i laid on his bed. we scrolled through tik tok for a bit. he decided to make one.
i took a video of him making the transitions. "so that's how it's done?" i said, and he laughed. "oh hush."
"can we watch a movie?" i asked. "of course," he said, jumping next to me on the bed and turning his tv on. "what do you want to watch?" he asked. "to all the boys i've loved before."
"ugh again? okay," he said, turning on the movie. i grabbed on of his blankets and covered myself in it. we laughed at the funny parts of the movie.
i really liked troys laugh. there's like three different ones, i've noticed. there's a wheeze, a giggle, and a full blown laugh.
when the movie ended he turned on music for the background noise. i went on tik tok and we watched them together. we found a really funny one and laughed really hard.
"troy honey," his mom said peeking into his room," the cookies are done if you guys want any."
"thank you," we both said.
"the moms and i are going to go to a bar. i'll be home later," she said. "okay bye love you," he said, and she said it back.
we heard the door downstairs close and ran to go get cookies. we raced each other down the stairs and we both fell.
troy grabbed his phone and made a video of him talking to alexa.
"alexa, play me some of that good good," he said, in a weird voice, causing me to laugh.
alexa played a random song and he started dancing. i started dancing with him. it was fun.
he posted the tik tok and it also went viral. any video with the two of us gets really popular for some reason, which confuses me.
troy and i started dancing again, but this time we didn't film it. he started twirling me around to the music. we did the dip and i threw my head back and laughed. he pulled me back up and we got really close.
this was different than all the times we've been close. normally, we just laugh it off, but this time we didn't. my eyes traveled from his eyes to his lips, and he did the same.
he finally placed his lips on mine gently, and we kissed. this wasn't like a kiss that happens in a game or whatever, there was a spark, like something ive never felt before.
he pulled back and looked in my eyes again, giving me butterflies. he let go of me. "sorry," he said, looking down. "don't be," i said.
i looked at my phone and saw a million missed calls and texts from my mom. "shit," i said," i gotta go, see you Christmas." i kissed his cheek and walked to my car.
"i'm on my way home," i texted my mom. i was about to get beat.

i got home and walked into my house.
"mija!! it is 11:30pm! Dónde has estado?" she yelled.
"mamá im sorry. i was at troys and lost track of time."
she nodded. "you like this boy don't you?" she asked, i nodded. "okay, just go to bed and we'll talk about this later."
"okay, i'm sorry mamá. goodnight i love you," i said.
" te quiero también" she said.
i got ready and went to bed, but i couldn't stop thinking about troy and the kiss. what if it ruined everything? what if it didn't? i guess we'll figure it out on christmas.
(the next day is christmas eve)
