PROLOGUE

In this world, I believe we all have a choice; choice in which path to take, or choice in which decision to make... and dreams to turn into reality. What is our purpose in this world anyway? I guess you would probably want to know mine.

My name is Jane Stewart. Eighteen, and will be graduating for a year in college. I had been living a kind of an ambient life for the rest of my eighteen years. Good tastes in music; member of the school choir for almost three years. I also play guitar, and do some things teenagers would much like to be. You see, I'm not trying to say that I am an artist. Not to mention I was our school paper cartoonist back at high school... So definitely, I'm an artist. I have a crazy sister, who dances a lot, a nerd brother who's in to the stage of being a prefect of discipline in the future... and I have a fuddy-duddy dad who looks like one of my favourite characters in the animated series that I've been watching. I have a very strong mother who I see as one of my books' characters that I've been reading for this whole summer. I have everything I wanted; smiling grades, wonderful family, successful career, and a loving boyfriend.

But this isn't actually the real thing.

This is the truth.

My name is Jane Stewart.
Eighteen.
Diagnosed with Leukemia, and is actually undergoing the
hardest summer I've ever had in my whole life. Too bad I failed your expectations of such endless and happy fairy tales.

Sorry.
