CHAPTER ELEVEN
A week after Auden's birthday, we finally went to the local airport in the morning, two hours before our flight.
"All set?" Marco asked as I held my bag on my left arm.
"Yes. Where is Auden?"
"She's coming. She's with him." He sighed. I patted him on the back, it kind of felt like he needed it.A few minutes later and Auden arrived with William. They sat beside us as we waited for our call up to go on the plane. The whole time Auden discussed a lot about the books she had been reading to William... whom I thought wasn't really listening. As usual, he's not really interested in books and stuff. Marco watched William in every action that has connections with Auden. I smiled at how he does because he was still the same protective brother to Auden ever since I met him. That's even the reason why Auden hasn't had any relationships since birth.
We took our flight at eight in the morning and arrived at the Tagbilaran Airport an hour and forty five minutes later. Marco brightened up a bit as he watched us go down. We all laughed at him as he screamed all the way.
"I have never felt such a rush!" He exclaimed and suddenly held my hand. I smiled at him when he turned unto me.We started our tour as soon as we got up at the airport. We rode on a van that was rented by Marco and Auden's parents. The trip was all covered up by their expenses either. Marco's mom really liked me for her only son and she wanted the best for our relationship. Although I didn't gave him any answer yet, it kind of felt like my life this way around made him change from his playboy days into a serious guy waiting for a girl's answer. Three years had been a long time waiting either. But those three years were also, on the other hand, a painful struggle to William. I felt my heart break at the thought.
At lunch time, we went to Loboc River for a cruise. It was one of my favourite places around the place; where you eat the best of the best foods ever served within the area while you cruise around the beautiful river... and music was played all along by entertainers...
I sang again as expected during that time. Marco was smiling his brightest smile as Auden looked at William, while William watched me in his simple smile- the kind of smile that he always make whenever he can't interpret any of his emotions at you. William was so hard to read. He has this strong ways of being unreadable all the time. But I fell in love with him in a way that only both of our hearts only know.
That afternoon, we finally arrived at the hotel, and checked in. Marco didn't want to be separated to Auden and Will so he decided we'd be in one room instead. Three beds were inside the room: one queen-sized, two solos. Auden and I were on the queen sized bed and the guys on the solo beds. We ate dinner together that night and went to bed early. But I couldn't sleep. I got up that night and went to the veranda again. I looked up at the sky and prayed. I was confused. Was this even a miracle, or just a chance to see how my life had to be the other way around?
