CHAPTER SEVEN
I went to the mall that Saturday just after arriving in Manila. I bought something to wear for the party and I was already about to meet Marco by six in the evening. When I met him by the coffee shop, he smiled at me. He has his braces on, a cap and he was wearing his black sweatshirt on. He walked his way to me and hugged me tight. I could feel his biceps through me. He smelled so nice. I can tell how his body was really trained well on the gym.
He kissed my forehead and finally going to my lips... but I insisted.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing. I'm just tired."
"Oh. Come let's go home then."
He took my bag and we finally drove our way to their house with his car. Ten minutes later, we were already home. His mom welcomed me with a kiss on the cheeks and his sisters hugged me tight.
"Welcome home sweetie. Thank you for coming."
"No problem, Ma'am."
"Oh, dear call me Mama. You used to call me that three months ago." Did I really call her that way?
"Marco, take her to the guest room. Make yourself at home Janey, dear."
"Oh, thanks ma'am, I mean Mama." She smiled as Marco finally walked me in to the house all the way to the guest room.
"Here you go." He said as he opened the door and laid the bag on the bed. I sat down and he came closer.
"You look so beautiful, Jane." I smiled at him and looked down. He suddenly kissed my cheeks.
"It's been three years, Jane. And you haven't answered me 'yes' yet. I just hope you would soon be telling me that answer of yours someday."
I just smiled. I don't know what to say... since I wasn't actually dating him in the first place anyway.
