CHAPTER SEVENTEEN
Things suddenly went different since that day Marco and I kissed; my feelings suddenly grew stronger for him instantly... the way you can never explain through simple equations and chemical reactions... it's just that it is how destiny wished us to happen...
I haven't heard of anything from Will after we left Bohol, except for the fact that he already agreed dating his cousin, Auden.
Today, my family and the Grey family agreed to have an evening dinner together with some of their closest friends in town...
My parents are as fine as they'd been compared to my first life where they ended up separating. The way they smiled at each other made me feel like life must be better this way; because they stayed together.
They say that parents might be suffering the hardest once their kid gets too sick to live; not only because of the pain their child is bearing, but also the point that it's going to test their relationship with each other too.
But I know, and they know, that I was going to die. That's why maybe they separated in my past life.
My parents went first already to the Grey's house and left me alone waiting for Marco. I was wearing my dark blue gown that one of our family designers made. I smiled in front of the mirror, trying to be comfortable. I sighed many times, thinking when will I make it right.
Marco was already waiting for me downstairs when I got down. He was in his hottest features; hands tucked in his pockets, his black long sleeves easily made him hotter yet classy at the same time, his eyes focused on me; and his smile, which I thought I would never notice... suddenly became one of the things about him that I learned to love the most.
"Hey, beautiful." He made that sexy smile again as I walked closer.
"Hey."
He slowly took me in his arms and we kissed. I felt his arms guarded around me, he was so gentle in the way he held me around. My feelings grew stronger than before for him. I was trying to fight it hard, but I can't. I was already drowned with his love.
He pulled away and finally offered his arm,
"Shall we?"I smiled and held him, and we were ready to go.
