CHAPTER FOURTEEN

When the morning light finally showed up at the window and lightened up the room, I finally woke up. William was still in his bed; blanket down and pillows squished on his arms and on his back. My darling William, you still look perfect as always.

I took a step closer and knelt in front of him, held his left hand and kissed it. His hand smelled like the usual perfume that he sprays all over his body before heading out of the house to get me and go somewhere... it reminded me of those happy days we had together.

He suddenly moved and grabbed my arm to him; pulling myself on him in bed. He made a smile while his eyes were still closed, I can see he might be having a great dream. In that moment, I just stayed still, and watched his wonderful face... his eyes gently closed, his lips softly closed. I kissed his eyes like the way I always did, and kissed his nose... I stopped when I finally reached unto his lips... his lips were very smooth and it made me remember of the sweetness it brings whenever we kissed back then. I whispered to him,

"You are my life."

He suddenly opened his eyes and stared at me for about five seconds. He suddenly raised his hands all the way to my cheeks and rubbed his thumbs through them. He smiled at me, that kind of smile that I loved the most. I closed my eyes and waited.

And like before, he kissed me like those happy endings we used to read through books and watch through movies. It felt like the stars all fell from the sky... aimlessly hitting the ground with all its sparkles banging in all over us.

We kissed some more, and he brushed his fingers through my hair, my arms trusting his shoulders to carry me on, it felt infinite. It felt like our favourite music was played and petals of roses were scattered... after that, he slowly stopped and gently pulled back.

"I don't know why, but it seemed like we've done this before."
