CHAPTER TWENTY

We went to San Juan, La Union the next morning. We stayed on their family beach house. It was a very wonderful house; it sits on an elevated beach lot. It is enveloped by a concrete fence. By the beach, it has a sturdy seawall. The main house has a spacious design with 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.

Marco took me to a fancy restaurant nearby for lunch after we were done unpacking our things at the beach house. He was smiling all the time. He keeps a lock of stare at me whenever he got the chance, and does his sexy chuckles after.

"Are you having a great time"
"Of course."
"It's been five years since I last went here. I missed this. I hope you'll enjoy too."

I smiled at him, however I still can't forget about the decision I have to make.

We went back at the beach house after and prepared ourselves to get pampered after a tiring day. I stayed on another room separated to his. It looked more like it was Auden's because of the bookshelves that were located almost at all of the walls of the room.

There are books of different authors; sorted according to their colours, shapes and sizes. I took one to read for tonight, which is the Love and Misadventures by Lang Leav. I sat down at the bed; it was obvious that the Greys prepared it already after we've arrived. The bed sheet smelled sweet and new; the room was air-conditioned. I took my clothes off and wrapped myself in my bathrobe, ready for my hot bath. A knock suddenly interrupted my thoughts.

"Are you alright?" Marco suddenly peaked in from the door.
"Yes, yes." I smiled and he was looking at me. I tried avoiding his eyes.

"Are you going to take a bath?"
"Yes."
"Okay. I guess I'll go to my room already then."
"Okay."

He smiled as he closed the door. My heart started to pound hard, and went straight to the bathroom.
