I walked into homeroom and realized that it was rather small, as i hoped.

"Hello, you must be Kellin" a lady who was dressed up pretty much like a lawyer said to me, extending her hand. she was actually rather pretty, she was blond and had an Australian accent.

"haha yup, hi" i said awkwardly as i shook her hand.

"Take a seat wherever you would like, I am Mrs Mcdougal" she said.

I looked around and i noticed that Mike sat down next to a very handsome boy. He had long shaggy chestnut brown hair and brown eyes.

I sat down on the other side of Mike.

"Hey! Kellin, this is Oliver, Oliver Sykes, this is Kellin Quinn" he said smiling, gesturing from me to Oliver.

"Aha, 'Ello, call me Oli. Mike likes to be a little twat and call me Oliver when he knows I hate that," Oli said, in a thick (but hot as hell) british accent.

"Haha, hey" I said shyly. Oli smiled at me.

"What do you have next period?" Mike asked me.

"Uhhh..." I said looking down at my schedual. I have Biology next.

"Biology" I replied.

"Shit, I have Latin," Mike rolled his eyes, "Oli could you show him there since you have it too? Pretty please you little British Crumpet" Mike asked, fluttering his long eye lashes and pouting. I could tell him and Oli are pretty close. I've never really had a best friend.

"Of course I can," Oli looked across at me smiling sweetly , he then turned his gaze to Mike, "you Mexican burrito."

They then bursted into a fit of laughter. I smiled at them, wondering what it would be like to have a best friend.

"Oli, Mike, settle down" Mrs Mcdougal said looking up from her papers she must be grading. Looking around the room you could tell she teaches History. She had a president chart, showing all the past presidents.

"Kellin!" Mike said, snapping me out of LaLa Land.

"Hey hey what" I said startled.

"I said, Would. You. Like. To. Come. Over. After school" Mike said slowly so i could understand him because apparently I didn't hear him the first time.

"Uhhh..." I said thinking. After school, my mom won't be home till late at night because she goes to work at 12 and right after she goes out to drink, "yeah i can, sure."

"Swweeeet, d'ya like video games?" Mike asked.

"Uh, sure. I haven't played in a while though," I replied with a side mouth emoji face.

"How do you live?" Oli said with a big grin. I took it that they are very big gamers.

I shrugged. Ugh why am I so awkward.

"Nah dude Olz is just playing around with you, we'll teach you!" Mike said with a grin. I swear to god if he had a brother I'll die, cause he would be sexy and I would-

Briiiiiiiiing!!!

"Welp, first period here we come!" Oli said, grabbing his book bag.

I grabbed my bag and followed Oli out.

"So did you like, recently move here to lovely San Diego or transferred schools?" Oli asked, looking forward as he spoke.

"I moved, from Michigan," I said, "I don't exactly know why we moved here."
