Hey! I'm back. I'm all good now, just turned 18, celebrated, other stuff... *cough*
Anyway, I'm going to start updating again. So, here ya go.

Keith's POV:

Lance has only been in the pod for an hour and I'm already getting worried.

"Keith?" I looked over my shoulder, and everyone was standing there, looking at me expectantly. Shiro walked over and stood by me. {"They want to know what Sendak meant. What are you going to do?"} I took a deep breath and looked back at Lance.

{"I'll tell them what I am. Not who and not how. Okay? But only when Lance wakes up."} I replied, and he nodded, walking away. I can hear him telling them to wait, but I'm just trying to figure out how much I can hide from them. If I tell them what I am, they'll want proof. If they ask how and I don't tell them, they'll just get even more curious. What am I supposed to do?

"Tell them." Red purred, giving me goosebumps.

"What? Why?"

"Keith, trust is a major necessity in a team. If you keep hiding who you are from them, they'll start to lose their trust in you."

"Red, I'm not sure that trust is the problem."

"Then what is?" I sighed.

"Red, Allura said she would kill Zarkon and his entire bloodline. That means me as well."

"Keith, stop making excuses and just tell them! You're really starting to get on my nerves." she hissed, and I smirked.

"You don't have nerves." I countered, and she started growling. She was about to yell, but then I remembered something and interrupted her. "Hey, Red? How did Sendak know I'm a hybrid from my sword?" She stopped growling, turning into a purr.

"Well, I probably should've told you, but your sword your bayard transforms into is unique to altean culture."

"Okay?"

"Well, in altean culture, it's called the "True King's Sword". The sword would present itself to that of royal altean blood who was worthy of ruling."

"But, I'm not of altean royal blood."

"Technically, you are."

"What!? How!?" I could hear Red sigh at me disappointedly.

"Keith, Zarkon and Honerva are married. That made Honerva the Empress of the Galra, which made her a royal, which in turn makes you a royal. Okay?"

I was frozen, stuck staring at my reflection in the glass of the healing pod. My eyes were wide, one twitching with info-overload. I may have stopped breathing too.

"Why didn't Allura or Coran say anything?" I asked, and I could feel her roll her eyes.

"They never got the chance to look at your sword up close. But the second they see it, they'll want to know what it means. So you might as well tell them who you are and avoid the headache. Okay?" I rolled my eyes at her.

"You are the one giving me a headache."

"Shut up and do it!"

Lance's POV:

*Hiss...* My eyes started to open on their own. That's when I felt that I was falling forward. "Woah! Hang on!" I heard as I felt a pair of arms catch me.

"Ugh, my back is sore." I whispered, feeling the ache.

"Yeah, I bet. That's what happens when you take a bomb to the back." Keith's voice was low, and I smirked.

"Right, of course." I said as I opened my eyes and looked up at him. He was smiling, that was the first thing I saw. Then I saw the dark circles around his eyes.

"Oh, please tell me you slept." I said, and he glanced away. "Did you eat!?" I said even more forcefully. He let me go and rubbed his neck nervously, his cheeks tinting a dark pink. "Dammit, Keith! Dining room. Now." I ordered, trying to pull him out of the room.

"Yeah yeah, fine. You too." he said, wrapping my arm over his shoulders to use as support while he wrapped his arm around my waist to help. We walked silently, entering the dining room to be greeted with heavy tension.

"What's going on, you guys?" I asked as we sat down. Hunk passed us a couple bowls of goo and we started eating.

"We're waiting for Keith to tell us what Sendak meant." Allura said, and Keith visibly tensed. That's when I remembered what happened.

"Oh. Guys, let him be. Some people don't feel comfortable with-" Keith grabbed my wrist and I looked at him. He shook his head at me, letting my wrist go.

"Do you know?" Pidge asked in shock.

"Well, no. But I understand wanting to keep things private and hidden."

"What? Like your skills?" she asked with a glare.

"Yes, Pidge. Like that." I grumbled, no longer trying to hide my skills. Everyone but Coran, Shiro and Keith looked at me shocked.

"Well? Speak." Allura said directly to Keith. He sighed sadly.
