Keith's POV:

I stomped over to Shiro, and he seemed worried about me. I just slapped the box it his chest.

"There!" I hissed, and I walked back towards Rolo's ship.

"Keith!" Shiro whined, and I rolled my eyes. I got to the ship. Allura, Hunk, Pidge, and Lance were surrounding Rolo and Nyma.

"So? Care to tell us why you tried to take him?" Allura asked, and she looked livid. That made me feel kind of good.

"Look, we really are with the rebellion, but we need money. So, I thought we'd turn him in to Zarkon to get the reward on his head. We would've sent in our spies to get him out right after." Rolo answered, and I clenched my fists.

"And the tech?" I asked, and he eyed me.

"It's a weapon, we just don't know what it does." Nyma replied, and I sighed.

"Well you don't have to worry about it now. We'll take care of it. Do you know if there are any others?" I asked, and he shook his head.

"The guy we took it from said it was the only one. That there was only ever supposed to be one. We... we took care of the guy who created it, so... you don't have to worry about others." Rolo admitted, and I nodded.

"Allura?" Lance asked, looking for orders. She thought for a moment.

"Leave them. Disable their ship and turn on their distress signal. I'm sure they'll find some help sooner or later." she said, and with a cold shoulder, she turned and left.

Lance's POV:

Well, we're back in space and all sitting in the dining room.

"So how did they get you?" Shiro asked, nudging Keith. Keith glared at him.

"They hit me in the back of the head when I wasn't looking, alright?" he said, pushing his second empty bowl away from himself.

"Is it alright? Does it hurt?" Hunk asked, and Keith smiled at him.

"No, Hunk. I'm fine. So, you gonna let me look at the box or not?" Everyone looked at Shiro. He sighed, sliding the box across the table to Keith.

Keith picked it up and examined it. He stared at one spot on it for a moment. Suddenly he shifted to his galra form. Sitting next to him, I could see him have to lean forward to let his tail out. He wrapped it around himself, keeping it close. He then set the box down and hovered his hand over it, his thumb over a certain strand of light. The box started ticking.

"Um, Keith?" I said, getting nervous. He shushed me, watching it intensely.

"Now!" He slammed his hand on it, and I heard a slight crack. He moved his hand off of it and waited. Slowly, the box started crumbling to pieces.

"Keith?"

"Shh." I huffed in irritation, continuing to watch it crumble. When it was done, I saw something sitting in the middle. It was small. About the width of a quarter, and the shape of a rounded teardrop. It was glowing a fiery red.

"Uh, what is it?"
