Sorry it's been so long. Here you go.

Keith's POV:

"Almost there!" I looked at Lance, and he was right next to me. We were about to tie!? Three more feet! Two! One!...

"No! Damn! How did you tie with me!?" I yelled as we stumbled to a stop.

"Y-you're just not as fast... as you think you are." he replied, grinning like an idiot as he tried to catch his breath. I rolled my eyes, walking over to the door. The second we were both in, the door closed shut.

"Crap." I said, looking around. Everyone was here, trapped.

"Told you I had a bad feeling." Lance mumbled. I turned and glared at him.

"Really? You don't say?" I said sarcastically, and he just snorted in amusement.

"Guys?" We turned and looked at Shiro.

"Yeah?" I said, and he gestured to who I guess was Shay. We looked, and she had her hand against what I would guess was the core, and around her hand was glowing. "Woah." I said, getting closer to take a better look. That's when I heard what sounded like whale sounds, but smoother.

"Wow. What is that?" Pidge asked, and I smiled.

"The balmera. She's talking to the others for Shay, delivering her message." I said, closing my eyes to listen to the sweet sounds.

"She wants you to know that she appreciates what it is you are all trying to do for us." Shay said, and I opened my eyes.

"I can feel it." I whispered, looking down at my feet. The ground around them was glowing as well. I glanced over at Lance, and he was listening with his eyes closed, a slight smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. Before I could look away, I froze. His feet were glowing as well. I went wide-eyed, looking away before anyone noticed me staring.

"What the fuck?"

Lance's POV:

I opened my eyes and looked around once the sounds stopped. Everyone seemed just as entranced by the sounds as I was. But, then there was Keith. He was wide eyed and staring down at the ground, frozen stiff.

"Keith? You okay?" I asked, and he looked at me, immediately dropping his panicked expression. He smirked at me.

"I already told you, I'm fine." I smiled back, and looked back to everyone else.

"So? How are we getting out?" I asked, and Shay pointed behind me. I turned around, just seeing the shut door. I was about to look back at Shay, but then the door started creaking. The rock around the door was squeezing down on it, and it popped under the pressure. When the dust cleared, there were four other balmerans standing there.

"Rax!" Shay yelled in joy as she ran to hug one of them.

"Come! We must make haste!" he said, and we all started heading our separate ways to get to our own lions.

"Paladins! We are under attack! We need help! Get up here!" Allura started yelling in the coms, and I could hear distant booms.

"We're on our way!" Shiro yelled and I hurried into Blue, immediately taking off. The second I was in the sky, I could see what was happening. A galra ship was attacking the castle, and galra battleships were swarming, ready to attack anything or anyone on command. Then I noticed how much the castle was struggling to defend itself.

"Quiznack."
