"Sooo... Rin."

Mina spoke in a teasing tone as she worked Rin's white bow into her curly hair.

"Hm?" Was Rin's response as she kicked her legs off the side of the chair she sat in.

"You and Midoriya," she continued, leaning forward to catch a glimpse of the quieter girl's face. "What's up with that? You like him, don't you?"

"Yes," she nodded like it was nothing, and the squeal that erupted from Mina's throat almost burst Rin's eardrums. "I said it."

"I knew it!" Mina twirled in an excited circle after finishing Rin's hair, and rounded the chair to bend down in front of her, hands on Rin's knees. "Spill, does he like you too? He seems like he does! But then again, it's Midoriya; I feel like he's always some shade of red, y'know? He's also really nervous most of the time, so is it, like, hard to tell? Or is it just one of those times where you just know, you know? Does —"

After hearing enough of Mina's rambling, Rin set a halting hand over her friend's mouth. The action made Mina chuckle in her throat, and she swatted her arm away as she stood up.

"Right, right, I'm sorry. You guys just seem so cute! A perfect pair, right?" Mina continued, walking toward her vanity to fasten her uniform tie around her neck. "Can't say Ochako is gonna be very thrilled to hear that, though. I have the feeling she really likes him, too."

Rin turned around in her seat to look at Mina through her mirror, a quirked brow risen in question.

"He's nice," she said. "To me."

"Real nice," Mina agreed, grinning. "Don't worry, Rinny! I think he really has a thing for you. He and Ochako are more of the 'best buddies' type, y'know? I feel like it's just different for you. Call it a sixth sense... or something."

Mina laughed again and adjusted her hair before turning on her heel to face Rin, holding out her arm as she always did. A smile played on Rin's face as she stood, and she didn't hesitate to lock her elbow with Mina's as they ventured outside of the pink girl's dorm room, just like they had since the day the girls met.

And, as per routine, they walked to the main U.A. building. There was a cold whisp to the air that morning, and it pushed Rin to slink in closer to Mina's side.

The two girls walked into class, and Mina smiled once she saw Deku's head jolt up at the sound of the door sliding open, as she noticed he did whenever Rin entered a room. The sight made a grin spread across her face, and she shot it in Rin's direction as she departed from her side.

"Just look at the way his face lights up." Mina whispered with a wink as she walked off, and left Rin to be approached by Deku.

"Hey, Rin!" A broad smile broke onto his face, and suddenly — after her talk with Mina — a heat spread on her cheeks. "I feel like I haven't seen you in a few days..."

"Aizawa," Rin replied, scuffing the bottom of her shoe on the tile beneath them. "Needed me."

"No worries." He waved a hand and laughed gently, brushing it off.
