𝕛𝕠𝕤𝕙𝕦𝕒 𝕓𝕒𝕤𝕤𝕖𝕥𝕥 𝕚𝕞𝕒𝕘𝕚𝕟𝕖𝕤 <3

-ricky ~ misunderstood-

i sat at lunch with nini , kourtney , and ricky . we were talking about everything and anything and it was going alright , until nini mentioned the talk about crushes .

" hey do you guys like anyone ? " nini asked , biting into her fry . i froze . i liked ricky but no one really knew .

" i do , " ricky said , smiling goofily . my heart ached a bit . the thought of ricky having feelings like that for someone else was heartbreaking and scary . for a moment , i did think that ricky couldve liked gina , and maybe i was correct .

" ooo whos the lucky girl ? " kourtney teased , nudging him . he softly laughed and looked down .

" shes an amazing person , funny too . shes caring but is a bit feisty , " he sighed and glanced at me . i quickly looked away and pursed my lips .

" i have no idea who this is but she seems like a great person , " nini said .

ricky softly laughed , " trust me , she is . " its probably gina . this ' amazing person ' could never be me .

i blinked away my tears as reality struck me , " h-hey guys im gonna go use the restroom real quick . "

i picked up my backpack as i heard them respond with an ' okay ' . a tear fell down and i wiped it immediately before rushing to the bathroom .

i arrived and quickly locked myself in a stall , letting all my tears out while covering my mouth in fear that someone would hear me .

i ended up not coming back to the cafeteria . i stayed in the bathroom trying to calm myself which also had taken up my lunch time .

after the bell rang , i picked up my backpack and washed my face to make sure my puffy eyes and dried tear stains werent visible .

i walked to my next class , which was with ricky . i wasnt in the mood to see him at the moment , and i didnt want him to see me either . all my hopes of that were gone as soon as i sat down at my desk . he looked at me and took the seat next to me .

" hey where were you at lunch ? " ricky asked in a worried tone .

i panicked a little but kept my calm , " i-uh . i just hung out there . i needed some alone time . "

" oh . are you okay ? you dont seem very happy like always , " he kept his worried tone and looked me deeply in the eyes . i avoided making eye contact with him , knowing i couldve broke down in front of him .

" yeah im fine , " i quickly said . i decided to not worry him by changing the topic , " so ... this crush of yours seems just as great as you . "

he kept a straight face and nodded while staring at me , " mhm . she definitely is . "

i kept quiet , as he did too . he decided to break the silence a few moments later , " hey , im gonna tell you who she is . you just cant tell anyone . "

i slowly nodded as he leaned into my ear and whispered , " y/n y/l/n is this great crush that is just as amazing- no , more amazing than me . "

my eyes widened and he laughed and gave me a hug as i hugged him back and whispered back , " i like you too ricky bowen . "
