You loved attending UA High School with your close friends for the last few months. Then again, things had been pretty crazy with villain attacks, All Might's retirement and you all moving onto campus as UA became a boarding school. Other than that though, it was fun to become heroes with the people you cared about most, and on top of that list was admittedly, your crush, Tsuyu Asui.
Tsuyu was one of those people you couldn't help but admire, from her intelligence and skill level on the battlefield to her charming personality and sweetness she showed to everyone in Class 1-A and beyond...with the exception of Mineta. Despite that though, things were relatively peaceful around UA. The second semester was about to begin and since it was raining outside, you got to chill in your room and work on notes or sketching out the scene from your window.
As you were drawing the courtyard of Heights Alliance, you heard a knock on your door. After getting up and opening the door, you saw it was Tsuyu on the other side.
(Y/N): Oh! Hey, Tsu. What's up?
Tsuyu: Hey, (Y/N). Some of us were going to watch a movie down in the commons. You want to join us?
(Y/N): I'm in. Let's roll!
You and Tsuyu walked down to the commons and you were able to see that a majority of the class were down there as well with the exception of Bakugo and Todoroki. Those two weren't always the more fun loving of the class. Either way, this would be fun. You were with Kaminari, Jiro and Hagakure and going over some of the movies Kaminari had brought in. You had to admit, it was quite the selection.
After some time working through all possible votes and opinions of the class, you guys decided on a film called "To the Moon". It was some french romance film that a majority of the girls voted on, the exceptions being Jiro and Yaoyorozu. Regardless, it out voted all the other options so this is what you got.
Once the opening credits got underway, Tsuyu walked over to the couch you were sitting one and silently asked if she could sit. Without hesitation, you moved down just enough for her to fit in, sitting next to you and Uraraka, taking up the middle since she had popcorn with her. While the film wasn't boring by any means, it clearly wasn't the best out of the selections possible. At some point, you reached into the bowl and accidently grabbed her hand instead. The little moment seemed to only be noticed by the two of you.
You quickly retracted your hand and had an uncontrollable blush on your face. Unknown to you, Tsuyu had an equal blush which was then noticed by Uraraka. The latter must have given her friend a playful nudge as Tsuyu tried to hide her own blush and well of emotions. You meanwhile were sitting, watching the movie, while also scratching at your hand, trying to calm yourself down.
It was a weird character quirk, but it was there. Regardless, the air around you two was a bit awkward to say the least and slowly growing in that fact. Eventually, you just stood up and cracked your back slightly.
(Y/N): I'm going to bolt real quick. See ya.
Iida: Since you had popcorn, don't forget to brush your teeth!
(Y/N): I gotcha, Iida.
Uraraka: You're going?
(Y/N): Eh? Oh...yeah. Tired is all. I don't want to ruin everyone's night by passing out on the couch. Night guys.
You got up and made your way to the elevator as the rest of the class called out and wished you a goodnight. While you weren't opposed to coming back to join the class again, the awkward air and the fact that you had a close relation with your crush of several months kinda made you brash at the moment.
