You were a simple first-year student at Beacon Academy. You had transferred over from Haven and been placed as part of the headmaster's Single Unit Teams and was ordered to finish your training. While there, you met some pretty cool people. From Team RWBY to JNPR, a lot of kids seemed really nice and caring. One such person was Nora Valkyrie. She was bubbly, energetic, lovable and honestly, you had one bit crush on her. It wasn't anything usual or odd, it's just, she seemed to compliment you so well.
However, the down side was she was always with Lie Ren. You always assumed the two of them were dating so there went your chances. However, regardless of that, you had made plenty of friends and was ready to live out your life.
Your eyes awoke at the good time of 7:30 and you got ready for your day. After doing the mourning routine, you crashed down onto your bed and and sighed.
(Y/N): (Man! What a boring day!)
You got up and walked a bit over towards your computer and began to run through everything. Looking over some school work, personal projects, some random videos here and there. Then you decided to ruin your entire weekend and go onto Beacon's website to check out your grades. You weren't a terrible student, you got all the grades you wanted and continued to do well in class. You could never just shake the feeling that you were going to do something terrible. You scanned through the grades and found only one small error. You haven't been so well in your grammar class.
You groaned internally and got ready to make a move to the library to study. Once you got inside, you quickly got to work reviewing notes and other topics. After a few minutes of that, you felt something land right beside you. You glanced up and smiled a bit when you saw Ren and Nora on the other side of the table.
Nora: Heya, (Y/N)! Whatcha, up to?
You held up the textbook you were reading from.
Nora: Studying. For what?
You turned the book around and pointed to the title.
Nora: Grammar? Boring?!
You just shrugged it off. She and Ren sat down and smiled at you.
Ren: Mind if we join?
You shrugged and welcomed them to the table. The three of you began to review some notes with Nora causing more distress over her antics and whatnots. All the same time, you just laughed silently as her antics always brought a smile to her face. The three of you kept up and going until Nora's stomach growled loud enough to get you all to stop and turn towards her.
Nora: Oopsies. I'm going to get some food. You guys want anything?
You quickly began to write something down and turned it to Nora.
(Y/N): (Even if we ask, you'll eat it along the way)
Nora: Probably. Oh well, see you nerds later!
Nora back rolled out of her seat and began to run out of the library. You laughed a bit to yourself and looked over at her in awe. Your eye then glanced over and you saw Ren giving you a smile and a happy look.
Ren: You love her, don't you?
You quickly retracted yourself and looked away from Ren. A blush appeared on your face and you didn't know what to do. You shook your head no.
Ren: (Y/N). It's ok. She really likes you too.
You began to do sign language since Ren was one of the few to learn it.
(Y/N): (I'm sorry. I know you two are dating and I just-)
Ren: Dating? No, no. Nora and I are like siblings. Truth be told, (Y/N), she really likes you. So, do us all a favor and act on it. Trust me. I don't think you'll regret it.
