Blake Belladonna was never a morning person and she made that known to everyone in her life. She would groan and be upset and make the early morning a living hell for anyone near her. That was until she met you and that you two had the kids. Your oldest was your son, Mars, a nice young man with (H/C) at the age 9. He was energetic, lovable, reliable and really knew how to get jobs done at his age. Then there was your youngest, Lilly, who was 3 years old and had a series of nightmares over the past few weeks.
That is what made Blake a morning person and even more annoyed with mornings. See, Lilly had a habit of cuddling up with her mother and also had a habit of moving, kicking and all sorts of stuff towards you and Blake. As a result, it wasn't usually a peaceful morning. That was until this particular morning. Blake yawned awake and could feel weight on her chest and something wrapped around her. She glanced down and saw that Lilly was gripping to her pajamas while Blake's arms were around her daughter.
Blake glanced up and saw that you had your arm around both herself and Lilly. She could also see that you were awake and softly stroking her hair and cat ears.
(Y/N): Morning, Kitty.
Blake: Hey.
(Y/N): How'd you sleep?
Blake: Not that bad, honestly. You?
(Y/N): Just dandy.
You softly moved your hand down and pet your daughter's cat ears. You could hear her purr in her sleep. You couldn't help but smile at the sight and sat up and lean down and pecked her forehead.
(Y/N): I'll get breakfast started.
Blake grabbed your arm and pulled herself up and kissed you on the lips. She then hugged you and kissed the back of your neck. You laughed a bit at the ticklish kiss and kissed her again. You softly push Blake back down onto the bed and she grabbed Lilly again and cuddled up to her. You cracked your neck and got out of your room to make some breakfast.
Once you got outside, you made a straight shot to the kitchen to begin. Ever since you and Blake graduated Beacon, you have stayed in contact with your teammates and friends. One of course was Ren who gave you a cook book with his favorite recipes inside. From that, you were able to make some killer pancakes and you intended to do the same again.
While you were making breakfast, you then remember one other person in the family. Mars. With that, you let the pancakes sizzle a bit and walked on upstairs. As you were walking upstairs, you turned to your left to look at the play area the house came with for the kids. On the couch was Mars, completely asleep with one of his favorite cartoons on in the background. You sighed and walked across the hall to the kid's rooms.
You walked inside Mars' room and grabbed his favorite blanket and a pillow and walked back into the play area. You softly lifted his head and placed the pillow under him and covered him in the blanket. You pecked his forehead and and walked back down stairs. You continued making breakfast, letting the food sizzle as you added everything you needed. As you were working, you felt two arms wrap around your neck and pressure placed on your back. You heard purring and turned around to see Blake was up and about.
(Y/N): I'd thought you weren't a morning person?
Blake: I'm not. Lilly started kicking again.
(Y/N): Ah. Letting her rule the bed I see. Smart choice.
Blake: Need anything here?
(Y/N): Mind setting up everything. We'll let the kids go at it later.
Blake: Gotcha.
So you two began to set the table while adding in a few bits of chocolate into the batter. From there, everything sizzled and finally breakfast was made and served. As you were cleaning up the station while Blake was eating, you felt something wrap around your leg. You looked down and smiled at seeing Lilly hugging your leg. You picked her up and held her in your arms.
(Y/N): Morning, Sweetpea.
Lilly: Hi!
(Y/N): Want some food?
Lilly: YEAH! Can I have that chocolate?
(Y/N): Magic word?
Lilly: Please.
(Y/N): Please what?
Lilly: Can I please have some chocolate?
(Y/N): Well, they're in your pancakes so-
Lilly: Yeah!
You set Lilly down and she ran over to the table and got into her seat. Blake smiled at her as Lilly began to dig into the pancakes that were already cut up by her mother.
(Y/N): Mars! Breakfast! I made pancakes!
The stairs start to shake a little as Mars leaps down from a step and lands and runs over to the table.
Mars: Thanks Dad!
Blake: Mars, what did we say about jumping down the stairs?
Mars: To not too. Ok.
Blake: Right. Now eat up.
Mars came over to the table and started eating his own meal. You grabbed yourself a plate and walked over to join him. The four of you sat and ate with some mild conversation. It was mainly the kids laughing and annoying one another and you breaking them up every time things got too loud. While you were doing that, you couldn't help but notice that Blake drift to and back to sleep.
You then began to clean up breakfast as the kids went to the living room to play. As you were cleaning up you noticed that Blake was basically asleep in her chair. You then noticed Lilly walked over to her mother and pulled a bit on her fingers and woke her up.
Blake: Uh, w-what? Oh, hey, sweetie. What is it?
Lilly: Are you ok?
Mars: Yeah, Mom. You look kinda tired.
Blake: I'm fine. Don't worry about me.
You knew it was a lie. Lilly probably kept her up all night with her kicking. You sighed and tried to think of a way to get the kids out of the area.
(Y/N): Mars, Lilly. How about you two run upstairs and do something together. Like maybe a game. Or kiddo, you can start your Summer reading books.
Mars: But Dad! Those books are terrible! And Summer started last week!
(Y/N): Well, then show your sister how to play that new game you got.
Mars: Ok! Come on, sis!
Mars and Lilly ran upstairs. You walked over to Blake and picked her up out of her her seat and began to carry her over to your room. She then stirred awake in your arms just as you entered the room .
Blake: (Y/N)? What are you doing?
(Y/N): Making sure my Kit Kat gets some rest.
You set Blake down in the bed and kissed her cheek. You then crawled up into the same bed with her and wrapped your arms around her. Together you both slept in a pretty good morning.
