"There's a man that's been outside of your room for about 3 hours now. Do you know him?"

I yawn before responding to the nurse. "What does he look like?"

"Nice hair, hotter than hell, and very nice teeth."

"Yeah, you can let him in," I said with a small chuckle.

I feel Dansby's eyes on me and I have to bring my eyes to his.

"I'm sorry for yelling at Chase. I just can't stand that guy and I don't want him touching you."

"He's not your biggest fan either, Dans," I say in a joking tone as I get out of the bed to go to the bathroom.

"You know, you look very, very hot in that hospital gown, Blake. I especially like that part where it's open in the back, giving me a perfect view of your ass."

"Very funny," I say with a sneer. "Please, take me home. I'm tired of being here."

"Okay. I'll go sign the discharge papers and then we can go home."

"Can we please go to Marble Slab?"

"Can we please have sex?" He asked, jokingly.

Shaking my head no, I laughed as Dansby groaned.

"You have plenty of girls you could call up for some sex, Dans. Just use a condom. I don't want to catch anything," I said with a giggle. "They won't give you A+ sex like me though."

"I wouldn't say A+. I might give you a B-."

"I am not a B minus. You're a B minus," I said, crossing my arms.

"That's not what you were saying last night Blake. I believe you were saying something along the lines of 'oh my god, Dansby, right there.' Sound familiar?"

"Nope. Not at all," I said as I hid my face in a pillow.

"It's okay, Blakelynn. I know your not used to having sex that good. I get that reaction often."

I shake my head and laugh, glancing at Dansby to see that he was doing the same thing.

I was so excited to be pulling up into the driveway of our apartment. I missed my bed so much.

I smiled to myself as Dansby came to my door to carry me. He was too kind when it came to me being injured or sick.

"You know, Blake," Dansby began as he lifted me up. "The last time I was carrying you like this, you were kissing my neck while being drunk off your ass."

"Shut up," I said as I buried my face into the crook of his neck. He smelled so good. He always did. It was like a woodsy smell. I couldn't get enough of it.

"Hey. I'm not saying that I mind," I giggled and looked into his eyes, my hand rested on his cheek. This whole thing felt like something a couple would do. It felt way too intimate to be a friends-with-benefits thing.

I was shaken from my thoughts as Dansby's phone rang. My face fell when I saw how his lit up. I didn't know anyone could make him look so happy.

He set me down before answering.

"Hey, Taylor."

It wasn't on speaker, but I could still hear everything that she was saying, faintly.

"Hey, Dansby. I've missed you."

"When can I see you again?" Dansby asked into the phone. To say I was shocked was an understatement. Dansby was never one to want to see the same girl twice.

As Dansby walked into his room, anything she said was out of my field of hearing. I could only hear what he said.

"Tomorrow at 6?" I heard him ask. There was a pause before he said, "Okay. See you then, Taylor."

When Dansby hung up the phone, he came back into the living room.

"Who's Taylor?"

He paused for a second, thinking.

"A...friend."
