BLAKELYNN
I steadied myself on the stadium chair beside me as I began to feel dizzy. Dansby told me last night that if I didn't feel better today that he would take me to the hospital, so this morning I told him I was feeling good and could go to the game.
Of course, that wasn't the slightest bit true, but I am terrified of hospitals.
"You good, girl?" Chelsea asked me, a look of concern in her eyes.
I nodded my head, but kept my eyes squeezed shut, hoping that the dizziness would subside.
I opened my eyes again and blinked a few times, making sure the dizziness was gone.
"I'm good," I said, now looking at Chelsea.
She didn't say anything, but she gave me a slight nod as we walked towards the steps of the stadium.
I stood at the top step and grabbed the railing for support.
"Blakelynn?" I heard Chelsea say from beside me, but it sounded like she was miles away.
I tried to respond, but everything was fading around me."Blake!" I could faintly hear her shout.
*****
I opened my eyes to a cool rag being pressed against my forehead. "Ouch," I whispered, feeling a terrible headache.
"Oh shit. She's awake." I glanced up to see Chelsea.
I took in my surroundings and noticed I was laying on the ground. The WAGs were crowded around me. "What happened?" I asked.
"You passed out and fell down the stairs," Sarah said. "You've only been out for about 2 minutes though."
"We're going to take you to the hospital, and someone already went to get Dansby," Chelsea added.
"What the hell happaned?" I heard Dansby's frantic voice say as he crouched down beside me. "Are you okay?" he asked, looking at me.
"I'm fine," I whispered.
"You always say that, Blake," he groaned. "And now look at you. You're not fine."
"She hit her head pretty hard," Chelsea grimaced.
Everything was still spinning around me. My head hurt. Everyone was yelling.
"Can you just take me to the team's trainer?" I asked. "That way Dansby doesn't have to miss the game to go to the hospital with me."
They discussed it briefly and decided that it was the best option. Dansby scooped me up in his arms and walked to the clubhouse.
After explaining what happened the trainer gave me and ice pack to place on the back of my head.
"I passed out before for the fall, not because of it," I clarified before hand.
The trainer nodded and turned to Dansby. "You said you'd be taking care of her for the next few days?" he asked.
Dansby gave him a nod. "Yeah. We live together," he confirmed.
