DANSBY

"Dansby, get your ass out of the bed!" I heard Blakelynn yell from downstairs. I groaned and covered my head with my pillow.

"James Dansby Swanson!" She yelled again. "If you wake up right now we can have a quickie!"

I shot my head up and jogged down the steps, pinning her against the counter. "Are you serious?" I asked, referring to the quickie.

"No," she laughed. "You parents are going to be here in 20 minutes and I'm nervous."

"Nervous? Why? It's just my parents." I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Are you kidding?" she asked, her eyes wide. "We're telling them that we're a couple today," she said. "That's scary."

"Relax, Blake. This has been their dream since we've met," I said. I wrapped my arms around her and placed my chin on top of her head. "Everything will be fine."

She sighed and nodded her head. "You're right." She stepped outside of my embrace and looked at me. "But we have a lot of cleaning to do. Get to work."

I shook my head and laughed as she placed cleaning supplies in my hand and gave me directions on what to do.

"Blakelynn, you've just gotten prettier since the last time I saw you," my mom said to Blakelynn, pinching her cheeks.

"I could say the same about you, Nancy," Blake responded. That was one of the many things Blake was good at— sweet talking.

"Oh, Blakelynn," mom said. "You're too sweet, but seriously you're getting prettier every day."

Blake blushed. "I must say I have to agree with that statement," I said walking behind her and placing my arms around her waist.

I put my finger under her chin and lifted it up, making her look at me. I pulled her in for a quick kiss.

We both chucked as my mom squealed. "Oh my goodness," she said. "Please tell me this means what I think it means."

I nodded my head and Blakelynn grinned. "It does, momma," I told her.

"Oh my goodness," she said. "Cooter, did you hear that!?" she yelled at my dad.

He chuckled. "I did, and may I say... it's about damn time!"

"Oh, Blakelynn," my mom said. "I'm just shocked you didn't post about your relationship on your instagram."

Blakelynn laughed. "That's because I knew you would see it, but now that you know, I definitely can post."

Blake has like a million instagram followers. She doesn't even need a job because she gets so much revenue from every post.

"I'm just so excited that you guys are finally dating," my mom squealed again. "I'm going to tell everyone!"

Blakelynn and I both laughed as Mom went on and on about how excited she was. Her face was absolutely lighting up.

"See," I whispered in Blakelynn's ear. "I told you there was nothing to worry about."

She was about to respond when the oven went off, signaling that it was time to eat. We all walked to the table while Blake grabbed the food.

"Chicken spaghetti," I said with a grin. "It's been like months since i've had it."

"I know, and you ask for it every night, so here it is," Blakelynn said, sitting down next to me.

I placed my hand on her knee under the table, and slowly trailed it up to her thigh as we all ate.

She nearly choked when I placed my finger against her. I looked at her to see her glaring at me.

"Are you okay?" My dad asked her.

She nodded. "I guess I was just eating too fast or something."

She swatted my hand away and I laughed quietly to myself. It really was funny, that is until she started doing the same thing to me.

A small smile played on her lips as my eyes widened, the closer and closer she got. I grabbed her wrist and leaned over to her. "Stop  it," I whispered harshly.

I looked at me innocently before whispering back, "I don't know what you are talking about."

I cleared my throat and continued to eat. Dinner went by painfully slow as Blakelynn continued to torture me throughout it.

I was a little too thrilled when my parents announced that they were leaving, but thankfully, they didn't notice.

When they closed the door behind them, I whipped my head around and looked at Blake.

"Oh," I started, pointing my finger at her. "You are in so much trouble."

"What did I do?" she asked, playing dumb.

"You know exactly what you did."

"You started it," she said, backing away from me as I stepped towards her.

"Don't you run from me," I said, capturing her wrists in my hands. "Because trust me, love, you will be punished for what you did to me tonight," I said, grabbing her and throwing her over my shoulder.

I smacked her ass as I walked up the stairs towards my room. She squealed as I threw her down on my bed.

"You're going to make up for what you put me through," I whispered.

She only nodded her head, before dipping down and going to work, and oh my god was she good at it.
