She's awake

It was agreed that (Y/n) would be the first to enter the room, besides the doctors and nurse, they believe since she was the first face she saw leaving that place then she should be the first face she saw when she woke up.

The girl was as still as she could possibly as she laid flat on her back letting doctors check her vitals and the machines around her. She didn't say a word or move a muscle as doctors and nurses moved around her. They were asking her questions but she wasn't answering she was silent which was understandable but also didn't make the staffs job any easier.

"Hello" (Y/n) said as she slowly came into the room the doctors waved but didn't mind her much" My name is (Y/n). Do you remember me?" The young girls eyes followed her but no other muscle move her stillness made (y/n) feel uneasy.

"What's your name? Do you know where you are?... well, you're in New York right now in Avenger Tower, You've escaped Hydra and now we're going to help you get better. You're safe now." (Y/n) waved the doctors away she could handle this stuff by herself. She knew the girl couldn't relax or focus with all these people working around and on her.

She remember how she felt when she first arrived she was completely lost and scared surrounded my strangers constantly asking her questions. Lucky for her Steve and Bucky were they to vouch for and take care of her. Familiarizing her with this new world and loving her just as they use to. It was that love and kindness that slowly brought back her memory.

(y/n) wondered if she had any memories of before Hydra or was she Hydra all she knew? Was it her beginning?

She took a sit next to her bed but at a distance she knew would not disturb her. " You've been a sleep for a long time. I bet you're hungry. Do you want anything in particular?" the girl didn't say anything.

"Well, I'll go get you something I'll make it a surprise. The bathroom is right there and if you need anything called Jarvis he's the building IA. Jarvis say hello"

"Hello" the IA said

"if you don't feel like talking or can't there is a button right there. I'll be right back"

(Y/n) slowly exited the room. And when straight to the girls doctor who was talking to the others. " Is there any specific foods she can't eat?" she asked not caring that she interrupted what looked like an important conversation.

"Um.... she can't eat solids right now she is missing a lot of nutrition. I'd say a soup high in nutritional value. Tomato or chicken noodle soup is something I'd recommend."

"Thank you doctor" she said quickly rushing to her kitchen where she knew she had chicken noodle soup.


"I got you chicken noodle soup. I hope you like it. Oh, let me help you" putting the tray of food on a table. Coming over she presses a button making the hospital bed sit up then she rolled the table over and put up the side legs and putting it over her lap. "Can you move your arms?" with a glared the young girl slowly lifted her arm and gave (Y/n) the middle finger.

"Well... that's not nice. That's not nice at all" (Y/n) said as she picked up the spoon trying to feed the young girl. When the girl wouldn't eat (Y/n) took a few spoon fills herself then tried again this time she accepted it. She ate the entire bowl without a word. " See that wasn't so bad. You still looked exhausted I'll let you get some more sleep." She didn't give the girl any time to respond fixing her bed to lay flat she fixed her blankets tucking her into bed like a child even though she was probably between the age of 14 to 16, she was careful not to actually touch her and make her comfortable. She dimmed the lights.

"Doors unlocked. Remember if you need anything you can press the button or call for Jarvis. I'm here if you need me, I'm (Y/n). Bye, bye." she closed the door quietly.

"That went well" Bucky said as he leaned against the wall next to the door " Don't you think it's a bit early to send her to bed. It's 4 o'clock."

"She needs all the rest she can get. She's been through a lot." (Y/n) says as she took the empty tray walking past Bucky.

"What are you doing with her?"

"I... I'm trying my best to make her feel better like you and Steve made me feel better. " she stopped Bucky heard her sniffle " She's just a girl. She's just a baby and look at what they've done to her... h-how many more babies to they have, Bucky?"

"hey , hey , hey" Bucky said as he came and hugged her from behind "It's okay, it's okay. We've got her now and she's going to be okay"

"Is she though?"
