"Sometimes life tells you to tilt your head, sideways squint, peer through a new perspective."-Angie Weiland-Crosby

Autism has always be a len that I have filter the world. Most of my life, that len was something I was not comfortable with because people made me that filter was wrong while I have learned to embrace that filter now that I am comfortable with being Autistic. As an autistic, my sensory systems are either over stimulated or under stimulated which affects the way that len filter the world. If you ask me, if I would like to get rid of that filter I would not because like many people I know no different than that filter being the way I see the world.

While being Autistic, gave me a filter on the world that most do not have it also shown the importance of perceptive on everything in the world. The perceptive that I filter the whole world through especially how I deal with other people. It is the main reason, kindness is something I do without even think about it; it just part of my perceptive of the world. So just maybe my perceptive of the world makes it easier to make connection with others in different ways because of the len I see the world through of Autism and having a different perspective of the world.

"I have learned that two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different."-Unknown

I could not talk about Autism and perspective without being able explain that in my case, it also affects one of my favorite things ever my Photography. For example, most days I end up shooting the sunset I have to have black sunglasses (was told many years ago that they are the only color that do not change the colors of the sky) with me because my eyes are sensitive to sunlight. It is also the reason unlike most photographer I hate to use flash most of the time, so I have learn to shoot without it most of the time. So every time you compliment me on my photography, you are letting me know my view of the world is important through my perspective and the len of Autism.

"Photography is an art of observation. It has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them."-Elliott Erwitt
