Sitting against the headboard of my bed with my guitar on my lap, I keep thinking about this long journey over and over again. So much happened in these 24 hours; I made a new friend, I had a vision of my past, I remebered how to play a guitar, I undergone an awkward interrogation about the girl of my vision and finally I lied to my old friends.

That song.. I just can't get it out of my head. I couldn't help playing it over and over since I finished eating dinner.

"Knock! Knock!" Katie called from the door, making me to stop playing.

"Hi, come on in," I smiled. She had changed into a pale pink pyjama which made her look even cuter.

"I heard you playing.. after such a long time," she said with a face-splitting smile, sitting beside me on the bed. "How come you remember how to even hold this thing?" she added, gesturing towards my guitar.

"I had a vision today, about a time when I was playing this tune for a girl under that big oak tree in our garden," I explained.

"A girl? Well, there were a few times when you brought girls home but I don't remember you taking one of them under that tree," she frowned.

"I really don't know what to make out of it but this song is stuck in my mind."

"It's beautiful. Whoever this girl is, she's special," she said sweetly.

"I think so too." Do I? Even if I have no idea who she is?

"Siblings think alike! Did you tell Britney and Nate about the vision?"

"Yes but not in detail."

"Why?"

"Britney seems to be the jealous type. I don't think she'll be thrilled to hear about that mysterious girl. She's even jealous of a girl which I met barely two days ago!"

"Who is this new character now?"

"Abby, the girl from the party. You remember?"

"Oh yeah, the one who slapped you?" she asked, a small smile playing on her lips.

"Yeah, but we are friends now," I replied proudly.

"That's strange.." she said while yawning.

"Go to bed now, babygirl! It's pretty late." She got up and made her way towards the door but turned at the last moment.

"Don't forget to tell Mom and Dad about the vision. They'll inform your doctor. Goodnight!"

"Goodnight.." I whispered before drifting in a soundless sleep.

The next day, the cold wind of early november hits me as I get out of the science building after my last class.

"Joey!" Britney cried while walking quickly across the yard to meet me. She was followed by Lucy and Nate which were way behind her. How can she move so quickly with those 5 inches high heels? And besides who wears those kind of shoes for school?

"Hey baby!" she greeted and kissed me lightly. "I tried calling you yesterday but you didn't reply." she added sadly.

"Actually I went to bed early. I was quite exhausted."

"It's okay," she said calmly as Nate and Lucy joined us.

"Hey guys! I just heard about this new snack bar downtown. Wanna hit the place?"
