-Joey's POV

"So that day in the deli, it wasn't a coincidence?" I asked Nate at lunchtime. He escaped me this morning but not this time. I was determined to get him admit the truth.

"No it wasn't," he replied reluctantly. "She had told me that her mom owned a deli so I did a little research on my own and got the address," he explained proudly.

"Not bad! You're smarter than you look," I joked. "Why didn't you tell us earlier?"

"You know how Britney and Lucy are.." he sighed.

"Britney has a problem with Abby, not Jenny. But I can assure you that Lucy hates her. I think Lucy's got a huge crush on you."

"I know... That's what I was afraid of. Lucy will make Jenny's life a living hell if she knows that I actually love her."

"Does Jenny know?" I asked and took a bite of my lunch.

"No. I can't tell her directly like that. What if she rejects me? I mean, we know each other for barely 5 days.."

"I think she's got the hots for you too," I reassured, thinking about the look Jenny was giving him at the deli. "Go and talk to her!" I encouraged.

"Now?" he asked incredulous.

"You won't get a better opportunity. Britney and Lucy are both absent today."

"Are you sure?" he asked again fearfully.

"It's you who should be sure of yourself! Get a grip, move your ass and talk to her!" I pushed him up from his seat.

"And what about Lucy? And Britney?" he protested again.

"That's my problem. I'll handle them. Go now!"

"You're my life saviour, bro!" he grinned. Then he ran a hand through his hair and adjusted his t-shirt before posing casually. "Am I looking okay?"

"Not better than me but you're good," I smirked before he walked away to the back of the canteen to find his beloved. Lucky Nate!

-Nate's POV

Should I take a flower? A rose maybe? Where could I get a flower here? Oh fuck.. I'm so nervous! Come on Nate! You've been through worse than this so you can do it!

As I reached about 5 feet from Jenny and Abby's table, I halted in my tracks. Before me was the most horrible scenario that I've ever seen. Jenny was sitting beside that footballer who was her date at the party! His name was something like Rikki or Vicky I think... But what shocked me the most was that the prick had his hand over Jenny's and was looking at her lovingly.

"Does that mean I'm forgiven?" the fucker said hopefully.

"Yes Rick, you're forgiven," Jenny said to him and he pulled her into a big bear hug. WTF!? Even Abby, who was sitting across the table, seemed pleased. Are they back together? Well fuck them! Fuck everyone!

-Joey's POV

The whole day has passed and still no news from Nate. I know that he must be with Jenny but he could at least give me a call to give me the good news. Well, I hope it's a good news.

On reaching home, I try to call him but I get only his voicemail. Maybe I should call Jenny. But I don't have her number... but I've Abby's! She must've been with Jenny when Nate came to talk to her so she surely must know what happened! Before I could think any further, I was dialling her number. She answered on the fourth ring.

"Joey?" she sounded hesitant and confused.

"Hi. Can we talk?"

"Uh.. yeah. What happened?"

"Were you with Jenny during lunchtime?"

"Yes, of course. Why?" she asked more puzzled than ever.

"Then you must've seen Nate coming to talk to her. I just wanted to know what hap-"

"No, wait Joey! I didn't see Nate," she cut me off.

"What? Are you sure? Perhaps he came after you left.." I suggested worriedly.

"Joey, I was with Jenny all the time. I remember quite well that only Rick came to talk to us. Not Nate," she explained patiently.

"Rick? The one who was Jenny's date at the party?" I asked unsurely.

"Yeah, he came to say sorry. Why are you asking all this?"

"Actually, Nate was supposed to talk to Jenny and till now, I've no news of him. I thought that you might know something... Anyways, sorry for disturbing you."

"It's no trouble. Don't worry, Nate is a big boy and I'm sure he's fine. I'll inform you if I know something," she reassured calmly.

"Thanks. Could you find out if he's with Jenny?"

"No problem, I'll send you a message to let you know.."

"Thanks again. Bye then-"

"No! First tell me what's going on! What was Nate supposed to tell Jenny?"

"Oh well.. Nate's got a crush on her and-"

"Really!!!?" she squealed excitedly.

"Jeez.. Relax! You sound like a hysteric Justin Bieber fan!" I teased, recalling that Nate once said something about that celebrity being gay.

"That was the worst comparison I've ever heard, Mcwell! It's just that Jenny's likes him too!" she defended happily.

"Are you serious!???" Nate would be on cloud nine if he heard that!

"Now it's you who's acting like a Hannah Montana fan!" she avenged her earlier insult. Technically, I don't remember who is Hannah Montana but the name itself tells me that it has to be some bitchy celebrity.

"Huh.. my Justin Bieber comparison was much better, Wood!"

"That's what you think!" she scoffed.

"Usually what I think is always right!" I said arrogantly.

"Well, not this time buddy!" she laughed and hang up before I had the time to protest. And I don't think I can explain the idiotic grin on my face either. Jesus, that girl is nuts!

When I returned in my room, after dinner, a message was waiting for me, from Abby.

*Nate isn't with Jenny but the latter is really pleased to know that Nate likes her back :D*

Then where the hell is Nate? His phone is still switched off. My earlier worry returned as I read the message but I nevertheless type a quick reply.

*Thank you, Belieber :P*

She replied as I laid in bed.

*Grab your Hannah Montana doll and sleep!*

*Will do ;) Now let me sleep, welch!*

She didn't reply and I drift off to sleep, my worry about Nate slightly reduced.

Personally, I've nothing against Justin Bieber and sorry if some Beliebers felt bad.. I was just kidding :P On contrary I despise Hannah Montana. I think I liked her as a child but not anymore.

First POV of Nate.. It's short but I just wanted to show his reaction when he saw Jen and Rick together. Hmm.. let's see what does Nate do now ;)
