Elena watched as her dad disappeared through the fireplace because apparently they had to use the Floo network today instead of apparition something about teaching her something new she wasn't really listening after he mentioned Floo powder. Elena hesitantly walked in after Snape grabbing a handful of powder and clearing her throat this was the part she hated the most the disappearing and reappearing where her insides felt more like her outsides and her head went into an instant migraine.

"For the love of God" Elena muttered, "Diagon Alley" she yelled throwing the Floo powder down she watched as green flames engulfed her.

The next minute Elena was met with stores surrounding her and a cobblestone road beneath her feet, Snape quickly caught her arm before her face met the ground which she was ever so thankful for.

"Thanks" Elena mumbled as she steadied herself, "I. Hate. Floo. Powder." she growled out as her single vision reappeared, "it makes me dizzy and queasy" she complained which made Snape playfully roll his eyes at her.

"Stop whining, little one," Snape ordered before making his way down the road with Elena jogging just to keep up with him.

"So... Dad, you sticking with the Dracula look for school?" Elena joked, Snape glared at her before subconsciously doing a once over of himself.

"Black's my favorite color" Snape argued as they entered the potion shop, "besides people fear this look and it is quite comfortable" he added as Elena scrolled through the basic needed ingredients for school.

"Mmhmm, very scary" she absently agreed before filling her trolley with everything from a black cauldron to something called wiggle worm, "rabbits tails" Elena shivered dumping the vile in next to one of the many boxes, "I totally agree with Dean, why does a rabbit always get screwed in the deal?"

"Because they have many useful properties" Snape answered.

"Dad, at least act like you care about their poor little lives" Elena chuckled making Snape shrug.

"But I don't" he stated.

"Bless my soul it's Elena Snape" the cashier gasped making the entire store die in silence, Elena glanced around uncomfortably.

"My, why hello, Miss Snape" a man nervously smiled holding his hand out, "welcome back" he shook her hand.

"Doloras Crafford, Miss Snape, I can't believe I'm meeting you at last" a middle-aged blonde woman smiled quickly shaking Elena's hand making the redhead nod unsure of what she should do before Snape helped navigate her past the large crowd.

"This is insane, Dad, I thought you meant 'happy famous' not the 'I'll climb over tables and bash people out the way to meet you famous' famous" Elena whisper yelled making Snape shrug a sympathetic look flashing in his black eyes.

"E-E-Eil-l-leen Sn-Snape" a man stuttered as he came towards them he had a purple turban wrapped around his head and he nervously fidgeted with his hands while he stared at the girl with interest, "c-can't t-t-tell y-you how p-pleased I am t-to m-...
