Elena rolled her eyes at the conversation Blaise and Draco were having while Pansy, who claimed the spot next to her, obliviously read over her charms homework it was supper but for some reason, Elena wasn't hungry maybe it was the fact that she had to watch Ron throw up slugs for almost two hours or maybe she was just tired in general.

"Where're you going?" Draco asked momentarily breaking his conversation with Blaise as Elena got to her feet.

"Bed" Elena mumbled.

"You alright, 'Lena?" Blaise asked his brows furrowed, "you haven't eaten anything all day?"

"Do you want me to take you to Madam Pomfrey?" Pansy asked glancing up at the redhead, "maybe you're catching a cold" she suggested as she closed her book and stood up. Blaise and Draco both sharing an irritated look at the concern she gave, they were almost 99% sure it was forced on, but that was just their opinion.

"I'm fine, guys" Elena gave them a small smile, "just tired," she shrugged before Pansy locked arms with her.

"Me too, early night?" Pansy asked making Elena hesitantly nod, honestly she just didn't feel the need or the energy to fight or protest Pansy.

"See you girls, later" Blaise waved.

"Night, 'Lena" Draco called out watching them leave his brows furrowed. Elena was seriously stressing herself out with trying to be mediator to all houses, but more importantly to Gryffindor and Slytherin. He understood her need for them to get along since, Harry whether they liked it or not was in Gryffindor, but Draco just couldn't bring himself to care about any of them if they carried on wearing his best friend down like they were.

"Come... come to me" a voice hissed startling Elena and making her stop almost yanking Pansy backward.

"Bloody hell, Elena" Pansy muttered regaining her balance, "what's the matter?"

"Blood... I smell blood."

"Do you hear that?" Elena asked unlocking herself from Pansy to glance around the empty corridor.

"Hear what?" Pansy questioned her eyes darting around.

"Let me rip you... Let me kill you" it hissed.

"It almost sounds like...."

"Like what, Elena, you're scaring me" Pansy admitted as she watched Elena walk up to the wall her hand gliding over the stone blocks. "Are you sure I shouldn't take you to Madam Pomfrey?"

"Like it's coming from the walls," Elena said ignoring her question before glancing back at her. "It's a voice like when your snake spoke to me this morning it's a hissing voice" she clarified making Pansy take a step closer,.

"Elena, you spoke to my snake this morning?" she asked, but it didn't sound just like shock how it should've sounded it sounded more like fear.

"Yeah, but it's louder and more aggressive" Elena whispered leaning her head against the wall.

"Elena if you can really talk to snakes it means you're a Parselmouth!" Pansy exclaimed a little louder than she meant to her hand flying up to cover her mouth.

Elena looked back at her, "what's a Parselmouth?"

"Someone who can talk in Parseltongue. They can talk to snakes, Elena. That's not good" Pansy breathed out as Elena leaned back against the wall. "Elena, what's it saying?"

"Kill! Kill! Kill!"

"Kill?" Elena grabbed Pansy's wrist dragging her along as she tried to keep up with the voice, "it's like it's moving" she stated in confusion.
