Elena ran out of her room and into the common room it was Christmas which meant that she and Draco were the only two Slytherins still at school even Blaise went home to be with his mother. Elena was supposed to spend Christmas with Sam and Dean, but that was before Dean sent her an owl explaining that Sam was soulless and that's why he was acting so cold-hearted which made a lot more sense than whatever her brain was trying to come up with so instead of Elena spending time with them she decided to stay at Hogwart's with her dad, brother, and best friend while Dean and Death himself found out a way to get Sam's soul back.

"Draco! Draco!" Elena banged on the boys' room door, "Draco, it's Christmas get up" she called out before hearing a thud which made her laugh.

"Bloody hell!" Draco groaned as he fell off of his bed, "what happened to sleeping in on Christmas?!" he yelled out.

"It flew into the snow when our presents arrived" Elena sang back happily as she skipped back into the common room before Draco came running out still dressed in his pajamas that included a black tee with long checkered pants.

"Where?!" Draco grinned falling to his knees at the way too green decorated Christmas tree in front of them.

"Looks like your mom went all out this year" Elena smiled eyeing the gifts as she sat down crossing her legs.

"Actually these two are for you," Draco said handing her one box and one wrapped gift, "one from Mother and one from Father" he smiled as the two ripped their presents open.

"Crystal charms" Elena laughed holding them out in her hand.

"Father's laying it on thick this year" Draco scoffed pulling out a silver chained necklace with a green emerald and a Slytherin snake wrapped around it.

"He's just proud you got into Slytherin" Elena reassured him.

"No, he's proud I'm the chosen one for the Dark Side and he's not letting me forget it" Draco countered tossing the necklace aside.

"Hey, I won't let that happen, you know that, right?" Elena asked snatching up the necklace and twisting it through her fingers.

"I do, but 'Lena, not even you can promise something like that" Draco reminded her.

"Yes, I can because a Snape is always a double agent and a Winchester always gets what they want and I just so happen to be both" Elena proudly stated making Draco burst out laughing at the tone she was using.

"Alright, Snape, open the rest of your bloody presents," Draco said rolling his eyes and grabbing back his necklace, "now that you mentioned it what did Snape say about Quirrel?"

"He wouldn't tell me anything about Quirrel only that he got bit by the groundkeeper's dog Fluffy," Elena said.

"Fluffy?" Draco questioned, "Hagrid doesn't own any dogs beside Fang, I remember Weasley and Potter talking about it."

"Fluffy is the three-headed dog that's guarding the third floor" Elena explained, "but Dad did say that Fluffy's guarding an object called the Philosopher's stone and-"

"Philosopher's stone?" Draco raised a brow.

"Yeah, and he mentioned some guy by the name of Nicholas Flamel, but when I started to question what the hell the Philosopher's stone was he completely shut down ending the conversation and he's refusing to tell me anything about Quirrel" Elena sighed in frustration as she fell backward on the black carpet underneath them.

"So, what are we going to do?" Draco asked settling down next to her as they stared up at the ceiling.

"While Blaise is gone we're going to have to try and get the information ourselves... I need to get into the library's restricted section" Elena said.
