Iris's pov
That dream felt so real....... Ugh! Why can't I stop thinking of that dream?
"Iris are you really alright?" Akito-kun asked.
"I'm fine don't worry" I said.
Once we've reached the dining hall, I greeted my mother with a bow. Then I went to the dining table. I moved a chair and sat on it. Akito-kun did the same.
"Dear, how's school?" Mom asked.
"It's fine mother, I get along with everyone" I said.
"I see....." Mom said.
"Mother how's life here?" I asked.
"It's alright, but sometimes I feel lonely....." Mom replied.
Aish! I should visit mom more often. I don't want anything bad to happen to happen to her......
"Don't worry mother, I will try my best to visit you more often" I said with a soft voice.
Mom's eyes lit up, but it didn't last.
"I'm happy that you want to visit me more often, but I don't want to be a bother......" Mom said while looking sad.
I smiled softly and held her hand.
"Mother, you will never be a bother to me. As your daughter, I want to visit you more often, and that's what I'll do. I love you, so never think that you're bothering me" I said while smiling.
Evangeline's (Iris's mother) pov
"Mother how's life here?" Iris asked.
"It's alright, but sometimes I feel lonely....." I replied.
Oh how I wish for you and Nicholas to be here with me.......
"Don't worry mother, I will try my best to visit you more often" Iris said with a soft voice.
My eyes lit up, but it didn't last long.
I want her to spend more time with me, but I'm afraid they I'll bother her.......
"I'm happy that you want to visit me more often, but I don't want to be a bother......" I said truthfully.
I looked at her with a sad smile.
She smiled softly and held my hand.
"Mother, you will never be a bother to me. As your daughter, I want to visit you more often, and that's what I'll do. I love you, so never think that you're bothering me" she said while smiling.
I smiled at her.
Iris, my lovely daughter, you are growing like a fair lady..... No, you're being like a goddess.........
I smiled and hugged her tightly.
"I love you, and thank you my dear Iris" I said as I embraced her.
We then pulled out from each other. Iris smiled and took her seat. She smiled at me before talking to the boy named Akito. I watched them as they happily talked to each other. I smiled to my self.
Maybe, there's still hope.....
