Chapter 4
Soon, it was time for the girls to head back to the hotel, and enjoy the next day off while the guys’ tryout the next morning. Amber headed down the stairs from the stage, saw Zac stand up in the back row, away from the others that were leaving. Amber slowed down waiting for others to leave, and she cried a little bit as they reached each other and they hug.
“Hi,” Zac told her softly in her ear.
“Hi,” she said hugging him back as they kissed each other’s cheeks.
“Welcome back.”
“Thanks.”
“So, where are you going now?” Zac asked.
“Back to the hotel. You’ll have to follow the buses.”
“That I can do,”
“Great,” she smiled.
They head out; Amber grabbed her cell phone, and decided to take the chance to call Nick.
“Hello?” she heard him ask.
“Hi,” she smiled.
“Hey, what’s up?”
“I’m in the top twenty-four girls.”
“Really?” Nick asked. “Yes!” he yelled.
She smiled and laughed. “Zac is here, so we’ll be okay. We have to head back to the hotel, but I wanted to call and let you know.”
“Okay, thanks. Call me tomorrow.”
“I will, the girls don’t have to go in, the guys’ tomorrow.”
“Okay. I love you.”
“I love you too, bye.”
They hung up and Amber got on her bus while Zac followed the bus making sure that he wasn’t spotted.

Amber got a room to herself, so she got to spend a few hours visiting with Zac, and he called some others to come up to visit. They sat and visited, and then Amber told them the great news that she was in the top twenty-four girls. Everyone was happy and hugged her wishing her good luck for round two.
